Wellness Wednesday ✨

Here are 3 amazing ways that soil helps make you happy and healthy.

1 getting your hands in soil releases the hormone serotonin to help boost your mood, making you feel happier.

2 soil is full of rich minerals and nutrients that our food uses to grow, which we eat and absorb improving gut health and supporting brain health.

3 soil boosts the immune system through microbes, reducing inflammation in the body.

If you are interested in gaining these benefits and more why not come and join us at the allotment for some gardening.

Let me know if you are into holistic treatments and if there are any herbs you like to use.

This is one of the reasons we wanted flowers at the allotment. To see a bumblebee happily going from flower to flower gave me a few minutes to stop gardening and enjoy some mindfulness 😍
