About Us

MISS is a support service and registered charity for women and men who have suffered a miscarriage. We have monthly support groups held at Rubislaw Church Centre (third Monday of each month, 10-11am) and Curl Aberdeen (second Thursday of each month, 715-930pm); a 24/7 phone service where you can speak with one of the MISS volunteers and share your story, ask a question or get recommendations for a counsellor/therapist for example and active social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

As well as this, in January 2020 we will be starting a “Next Pregnancy Clinic” for members who are unable to conceive and members who are pregnant after a miscarriage and feeling anxious. This will on a monthly basis with a MISS volunteer as well as the “Bereavement Support Midwife”, Myra Kinnaird from Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. At this clinic, members can share their story and ask any questions they may have.
