Few of my clients asked my to share my favourite ginger and turmeric tonic recipe and so here it is. It's packed with goodness to help boost immune system and reduce inflammation in the body. You can always adjust the ratio of each ingredient to your personal taste.

You will need:
* ginger root
* turmeric root or powder
* small piece of cinnamon stick
* few whole cloves
* a couple of lemon wedges
* ground nutmeg
* honey

Instructions:
1. Fill a 1-liter pot with water and place it on a low to medium heat setting.
2. Chop a piece of ginger about the size of your thumb and a piece of turmeric about the size of your pinky finger into small pieces. You don't need to peel it, but you can if you prefer. I personal use the whole root.
3. Add to the water as it is heating up.
4. Add whole cloves and cinnamon stick
5. Let it simmer on low heat for 15 - 20 minutes, you can see the colour changing to orange yellow.
6. Turn off the heat and add few wedges of lemon and a sprinkle of ground nutmeg.
7. Let it cool down and add honey to your taste.
8. Strain into a glass container and store in fridge for up to 5 days.

You can drink it cold or warmed up, whichever way you prefer. Enjoy!โ˜บ๏ธ

Those who know me well, know that I am very protective of dandelions. Regarded in the UK as weeds, they are nature's precious herb, little sunshines packed with goodness.
It's spring time and they are starting to appear all around us. Don't be hasty to kill them. Instead, pick up a few, wash and eat fresh. Let's change the way we see and treat them. Nature has provided us with every remedy, we just need to learn ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŒผ

Dandelion is a an excellent all rounder and should most certainly feature near the top of any healthy herb collection. Dandelions have an excellent reputation as a detoxifier, blood cleanser, stimulant and digestive aid. And they make a great addition to your cuisine - a real gift from nature to sup...

This is not a hunting photo. Briton Alex Larenty, who resides on a game reserve in South Africa, spends his days giving foot massages to lions. One day, while applying a cream to treat an infection on a lion's paw, he noticed that the lion would relax and appear to smile. Since then, Alex has been massaging all the lions in the park daily. Thanks to this pampering, he has formed a bond with the lions so strong that they lie down, stretch their legs, and smile as soon as they see him approaching. With love and respect, all relationships are possible!

Did you know that cortisol is a hormone that is produced in response to stress?
Whilst it plays a vital role in regulating many body functions, it can also disrupt the balance of other hormones including testosterone and estrogen. This can then lead to many familiar signs we may have experienced at some point, like tiredness, fatigue, weight gain, insomnia etc.
Regular massage helps to boost blood flow, bringing nutrients where needed as well as improve overall relaxation that can minimise the negative impact of stress and anxiety.
Self-care is very important and should not be underestimated or neglected.
Try different types of massages to find the one that suits you best at regular intervals.
