Hi I’m Megan Ryan RMT and my business MJR Fitness’s aim is to promote health and wellbeing through personal training, massage and reflexology.
In 2014 I qualified as a Swedish massage therapist and built upon this passion by gaining a qualification in sports remedial massage a year later, followed by a reflexology qualification in 2016.
For the past 8 years I have been registered with the Scottish Massage Therapist Organisation and have been working as a massage therapist supporting Osteopaths at Brooks-Carter clinic while building my own clientele. Currently I work between Brooks Carter clinic in Bridge of Don and Complementary Health in Balmedie.

Hip abductor strengthening is crucially important to prevent poor biomechanics throughout your leg, ensuring you don’t develop pain or injury in your back, hip or knee. Strengthening your hip abductors can reduce pain and improve function if you already have an injury or weakness. Having strong hips that are well balanced also improves sporting performance, for example in activities such as running.
