Ibiza, but slower ☀️🌿

In May 2026 I’m hosting two small-group yoga retreats in Ibiza — designed for rest, sunshine, gentle movement, nourishing food, and exploring the quieter side of the island.

✨ BEGIN (25–29 May)
Beginner-friendly (or returning gently) — steady, supportive and confidence-building.

✨ EXPAND (30 May–6 June)
For those with some yoga experience who’d like a little more depth — while still keeping things calm and spacious.

Expect poolside yoga, beautiful meals, local guided excursions, and plenty of time to simply be.

If you’d like the full retreat PDF, just DM me “IBIZA” and I’ll send it over 💛

“I feel like I’ve left it too late…”

This comes up a lot — and it’s such a common worry.

In this reel, Mum shares why it’s never about age — it’s about caring for your body, keeping it moving, and finding confidence through small, steady progress.

Yoga classes are full of real people at different stages of life.
And the benefits? They’re for your body and your mind.

If this has been quietly on your list… you’re very welcome here. 💛

Why my yoga groups stay small 🤍

Whether it’s a weekly class, a day retreat or a getaway further afield, I keep numbers intentionally low.

✨ Classes are around 6-10
✨ Events typically capped at 16
✨ Retreats are even smaller

Smaller groups allow for a calmer, more supportive atmosphere – and over the years I’ve found this is where people tend to relax, connect and really settle into the practice.

Small groups mean:
• You’re welcomed by name
• There’s space to move and rest
• You don’t feel lost or watched
• The energy stays calm and friendly
• Real connection can happen

Some moments are playful and smiley.
Others are quiet, inward and still.
Both belong here.

If you’ve ever thought “I love the idea of yoga, but not busy studios or gyms” – this might be your kind of space.

Updates for this week’s classes

Let’s move online folks. The police are advising no unnecessary travel so let’s keep things simple. You’re welcome to join the online class, or I can share the recoding the next day.

I’ll figure out a wee catch up by the end of the week where all are welcome. 🙏🏼

Stay safe and warm

Coffee with Carol ☕
Part 2.

In this chat, my mum talks honestly about travelling solo — the logistics, the practicalities, and how she navigates the nerves that can come up before a trip.

We cover things like:
• getting from A to B
• what to expect when travelling alone
• how to manage anxiety and unknowns

I also share a little from my time working in travel and how preparation can make all the difference.

If travelling solo is something you’ve thought about, feel free to pop a question in the comments — we’re happy to share what’s helped.

Journaling over the years ✍️

As part of my January tidying and organising (hello fresh energy), I’ve been laughing, reminiscing… and yes, shedding a few tears while reading old Jan 1st entries and wish lists from years gone by.

My very first diary is from 1989, when I was just 12 — a wee bairn. One entry talks about maybe making up an imaginary friend for when I had no one to play with. I’m still undecided whether to laugh or cry at that one. 😭

The teenage years that follow are exactly what you’d expect: pages filled with school, friendships, nights out, big feelings and everything being very dramatic. 😂

There’s a bit of a gap between 2000–2010, but one entry really stands out — debating whether I should go travelling after my uni exchange trip to Amsterdam. I’m so glad I did. That decision truly changed my life.

Some of the more recent entries still feel close to the surface, but reading them now, they belong to a very different version of me. And there’s something quite special about noticing that some of those hopes and dreams did come true. That feels grounding… and quietly proud.

I’m now choosing a new journal for this year — a fresh page, quite literally.
Is journaling something you do? Or have you ever kept a diary? I’d love to know — tell me in the comments ✨
