Leadership International - RGU

Leadership International (LI) is an organisation that was born out of Lighthouse Chapel International, a denomination with a network of branches worldwide, as a result of the following:

1. The world needs leaders and not just leaders but good leaders, full of integrity, honesty, moral rectitude and above all, the fear of God, Leaders who will live exemplary and challenging lives.
2. Many young people have great leadership potential which is often untapped.
3. Many young people with great talents and potential end up wasting their lives because they are attracted to and pulled away into violence, immorality, drugs and other vices.
4. These same people grow up and find themselves in leadership positions, but can the blind lead the blind? LI believes that mankind is lost without God and therefore upholds the truth of salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and takes the Bible as the Word of God and Christianity as the first step towards leadership

Leadership International intends to achieve these by:
1. Organizing evangelistic outreach targeted for young people especially in second-cycle institution.
2. Organizing educational seminars and symposia on topics relevant to young people e.g. Career Talks, Morality & Immorality, Leadership Talks, Time Management, Use of Drugs, Medical Issues, etc,
3. Linking with other Christian youth organisations where possible to share ideas in order to complement each other.
