Dearest Clients,

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your incredible patience and understanding during my recent absence. Your loyalty and messages of support have meant the world to me, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you for sticking with me.

I'm thrilled to let you know that I will be returning to work! I'm so looking forward to welcoming you back and getting those appointments rescheduled.

However, I will be phasing back into my work schedule over the next six weeks. This means that my availability will be limited for a little while, and spaces will be booking up quickly. If you have left me a message looking to book an appointment, or reschedule an appointment I will do my upmost to reply and accommodate you as soon as I can.

On another note, for anyone holding vouchers purchased in December, to ensure there's absolutely no rush, I will be extending the expiry date of all December vouchers by two months. This means they will now be valid until the end of August 26, giving you plenty of time to book your treat instead of the original end of June 26.

Thank you again for bearing with me as I transition back to regular hours. Your patience and continued support mean everything. I can't wait to see you all soon!

Return to Salon:

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your incredible patience and understanding while I've been away. It truly means the world to me, and I've missed you all so much!

I'm thrilled to announce that I'm planning my return to the salon at thebeginning of March, on a phased basis. As I find my feet again, I'd be so grateful if you could all just bear with me during this transition.

I will be contacting my regular clients directly to arrange appointments. For anyone else wishing to reschedule existing bookings or book future appointments, please feel free to DM me on here, or contact me by text or telephone.

I'm genuinely looking forward to catching up with you all and getting back to making you feel fabulous! It will, of course, be with a heavy heart and sadly without our beloved Roxie by my side, but I know she'd want me to be back doing what I love.

A difficult update:
It is with immense sadness that I share the news of my beloved Roxie's passing this past Saturday. My heart is truly broken, and I know she will be deeply missed not just by me, but also by many of you who so lovingly spoiled her with treats and affection over the years.
On a separate note, I want to let you know that I am doing well and plan to be back in the salon with you all in March, though it will be without our dear Roxie. I look forward to seeing you then and catching up. I hope you've all been keeping well.

Can i ask when you are contacting for voucher refunds you attach the voucher number. As i do have a list but the name for the person that has bought the voucher is against that number and if it has been gifted it will be different. Sorry for this. Good morning. Sorry to have to update, but the salon will have to remain shut for some time yet. Their is no time scale as to when it will reopen. So at donnas request every1 that has bought vouchers or received a voucher please get in touch and we will issue a full refund. Thanks for your understanding at this time. An Important Update Regarding Donna & Appointments

Hi folks, it’s Bob here, Donna’s husband.

I'm writing with a difficult but important update. Donna has unfortunately been very unwell over the festivities and, as a result, she won't be able to return to work on January 8th as expected. Her recovery is our top priority right now.

We truly appreciate your understanding during this time. I would be very grateful if you could all hold off contacting her for now about appointments and vouchers. When she is feeling well enough, she will be in touch personally to reschedule everything.

For anyone who has a voucher booked in and doesn't wish to wait, please know that we are absolutely happy to reimburse you.

I will do my very best to contact everyone directly, but I'm hoping that most of you will see this message. If you have any questions or enquiries regarding reimbursements, please feel free to contact me directly on this page, and I will do my utmost to help.

As another busy Christmas period draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your incredible support throughout 2025. Your enthusiasm for the new treatments we introduced, and the warm welcome extended to our many new clients, truly means the world to us. It's an honour and a privilege that you continue to choose and trust us to provide your treatments and moments of relaxation.

We've been so touched by all the thoughtful cards, beautiful flowers, and generous gifts – truly feeling loved and incredibly blessed by each and every one of you.

This year, for many, myself included, Christmas has brought with it a mix of emotions. While I usually embrace the festive excitement, my heart has felt a little heavy this season, and my usual Christmas sparkle was a little dimmer. I know there are many 'sore hearts' out there, and please know that you are very much in my thoughts ❤️

At the Garden Retreat, we recognise the power of community and recognising those who make our towns special. We know there are so many incredible people in our local area who selflessly give to others, work hard, or simply deserve a moment of pampering and relaxation.

That is why we would love to announce our Community Appreciation Treatment Giveaway!
We are looking to treat one truly amazing individual to a complimentary treatment and we need your help to find them!

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are searching for someone in our local community who you believe is a genuine local hero, could use a well-deserved break, or gone above and beyond for others. This could be a tireless volunteer, a single parent juggling multiple responsibilities, a frontline worker, someone facing personal challenges, or just a kind soul who always puts others first.

HOW TO NOMINATE:
1. Name the person you would like to nominate
2. Tell us what makes them stand out, how they impact your life or the community
3. Nominees must reside in our local area. Nominators must also be local
4. All nominations must be submitted before 30th Dec 2025
