On Saturday I had the absolute delight of marrying Lana and Nathan at the stunning Pittodrie House

These two were a dream to work with, so laid back and such great fun. I especially enjoyed their 'three things they love about each other' - it certainly got a few giggles from the guests too!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Morrison, wishing you a lifetime of happiness. x💕

I was originally going to be marrying Calum and Sarah in October this year.
However, due to personal reasons they chose to bring their wedding forward.

I contacted the wonderful folks at Aberdeenshire Registrars who were so helpful and this gorgeous couple were able to be married on Thursday by the lovely Emma at Stonehaven Registry Office.

Calum and Sarah invited me along to their wee reception at the Marine Hotel afterwards.

I had the honour of taking them through the symbolic gesture of drinking from the quaich, a lovely way to show the unity and love this couple have for each other.

Huge thanks to Aberdeenshire Registrars, by working together we were able to give this couple the wonderful day they deserve.

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Watson!! I can’t wait to celebrate again with you in October!! Xx

When your favourite celebrant has her own Big Day 💕

A day filled with love and laughter.

Later we enjoyed our own hoedown where there were cowboy boots, singing and an attempt at line dancing. 🤠

Huge thanks to Scott Arlow Photography for taking these lovely headshots of me yesterday at Norwood Hall Hotel

Now the question is, what one should I use as my new profile pic?

1. Giggling
2. Looking professional
3. Gazing off into the distance
4. Laughing (again)

I’d love to know your thoughts! 💙

Lovely Sunday spent chatting to couples at the Portlethen Jubilee Hall wedding fair.

Huge thanks to Tricker Bridal for indulging my veil obsession and to Jo Scrumptious Cake Design and Zoe's Tasty Treats for the lovely cake and chocolates!

Including a wee reading or a poem for your wedding can be a lovely addition to your ceremony.

This is called ‘The Giraffe and the Monkey’ by Daniel Thompson.

If you’re looking for a celebrant for your big day, feel free to reach out for an informal chat.

In January my wee mammy, Lynda, helped me out at the Your Wedding Exhibition.

She was brilliant, for two days she kept me fed and watered and chatted away to people.

I said I’d give her a bottle of brandy for her efforts - had to wait until payday to give it to her though, have you seen the price of brandy?! 🤣

Today was my first funeral of 2026 and it was a really tough one.

Providing a ceremony for someone you know is an enormous privilege but it’s also a really difficult thing to do.
