I’ve always been someone who loves to move 🤸🏻♀️
Not in a “smash the gym every day” way, just in a living fully kind of way.
Horse riding. Rugby. Aerial. Surfing. Mountain biking. Running. If it got me out the house and into my body, I was in.
But there was a time, not that long ago, where that version of me felt far away.
I was stuck in a job that didn’t fit. My mental health was struggling. And I started experiencing muscle spasms so painful they’d stop me in my tracks. Literally.
I went to physios, specialists, massage therapists. I did the stretches, the exercises, all the “right” things. Nothing stuck.
It wasn’t until a consultant asked me, “Are you stressed?” that it finally clicked.
The pain wasn’t just physical. It was my body asking for help. I realised I didn’t just need to fix a symptom. I needed to rebuild my whole relationship with movement (and with myself).
So I started slow.
🌿 I moved because it felt good, not because I was supposed to.
🌿 I got the support I needed.
🌿 I gave myself permission to let go of anything that wasn’t helping me feel like me again.
That’s what led me here. To retraining in sports massage, then assisted stretch, then personal training and finally to setting up my own little studio space from home.
So I could create a service that wasn’t about “transformations” or before-and-afters, but about helping real people feel better in their bodies, move with ease again, and not have to figure it all out alone.
