Hello again!

A little bit about me..
⁣
I’m Hayley - Reflexologist in Aldbury, Tring Herts.⁣
⁣
🌱 I first tried it ( very reluctantly!) after a health blip in 2017 and can honestly say with my hand on my heart it changed my life. After my first treatment I felt emotionally lighter, more focussed, less anxious and immediately started sleeping better. ⁣
It felt like a natural reboot and I was hooked from day 1.⁣
⁣
⁣
🌱In 2018 I had the opportunity to change my career and retrain in something that I was genuinely passionate about, so I packed my school bag, joined the London School of Reflexology at Regents Park University and got my Diploma in 2019.⁣

⁣
🌱Before and during my studies, I was experiencing my own long (and complicated) fertility issues, we did everything - you name it, we tried it.⁣
I then fell pregnant in 2020 with our son, Dax, whilst we were taking some time out from treatments to review our options.⁣
I’m very open and honest with clients about my experiences both good and bad with different fertility treatments should they want to know, so if you are going through something similar and have any questions during your session, please feel free to ask.⁣

🌱Due to the above, I’m also trained in fertility and pregnancy Reflexology. I learnt so much about my own body during our journey that it felt right to put all that knowledge to good use, and try to help others in similar situations. ⁣

Reflexology really is an incredible therapy and can help with such a wide variety of issues.⁣
Stress and anxiety ( the reason I booked my very first appointment) Insomnia, digestive problems, tension headaches, migraines, hormonal imbalances, the list goes on. Hello Helllooo!

We have finally moved house! which means after a bit of painting and decorating, I am able to take bookings.

Gone are the days of the 1 hour parking spaces and cheating death trying to cross THAT road in Northchurch 🤣
We’re now in Aldbury, ( about a 6 min drive from the old place ) AND you can park right next to my house.. winner x

What is Reflexology and what can I expect from a treatment?
⁣
The term I use to describe Reflexology to any new client is a “Natural Reboot”.
It’s a safe, painless and gentle touch therapy that helps to give the body exactly what it needs.⁣
⁣
Gentle pressure is applied to the reflex points on the soles of the feet, creating deep relaxation and calming the central nervous system.⁣
These reflex points correspond to organs, glands and systems in the body and when manipulated, can have a direct effect on their function and stimulate the body’s own healing processes.⁣
It helps the body to restore its balance naturally.⁣
⁣
Each treatment will usually last an hour, however with your initial session and consultation, I ask all new clients to allow 90 mins (max), This is so I can take your medical history, we’ll talk through all your reasons for treatment together which then allows me to adapt each session to suit your own individual needs - there is no extra charge for your consultation.⁣
⁣
Your job for the next 60 mins is to unwind, get cosy under the blanket, switch off and drift off to sleep if you want to (It’s also the perfect opportunity and space to meditate!)
⁣
During your session, sometimes we find reflexes that are “Out of balance”, the area may feel congested to the Reflexologist, or perhaps slightly tender to you.⁣
This is always noted down and spoken about at the end of every treatment, as it can help form a plan for areas to concentrate on in future sessions.⁣
⁣
