Currently UKHSA are dealing with the meningitis outbreak in Kent. They are currently coordinating a national response to the outbreak but this does not mean a national NHS incident has been declared. We await further instruction. NHS services continue to operate as normal.

Currently there are no additional vaccination programmes advised in addition to the usual childhood immunisation programme.

If you think you may have symptoms of meningitis, don’t hesitate to seek medical help by contacting your GP or calling NHS 111.

So, give yourself peace of mind, and make sure your children are up to date with the NHS vaccination schedule. Vaccines help protect your baby from serious illnesses. 🎀🐆

🌟 Protect Yourself from Shingles – If You’re Eligible, Get Vaccinated! 🌟

Did you know that the shingles vaccine is over 90% effective at preventing shingles and its complications?

Shingles isn’t just a rash — it can cause severe, long‑lasting nerve pain that can impact daily life in a big way. Getting vaccinated now can help prevent a lot of painful and difficult times later on.

The Shingrix vaccine offers strong protection for adults over 65 and those with weakened immune systems, helping prevent both shingles and the long‑term nerve pain that can follow.

💙 If you’re eligible, please take up your shingles vaccine.
It’s one of the most effective vaccines we have — and a simple step to protect your future health.

If you have questions about eligibility, timing, or how to book, just contact the practice. We’re here to help.
