This weekend, we were proud to spend time in our community honouring mothers, grandmothers, and the special women who hold a place in our hearts. 💐

Our team at Ashton Brookes Funeral Directors visited local care homes to deliver daffodil plants ahead of Mother’s Day. We hope these small gestures help brighten the visits of families spending time with their very special loved ones.

Today we had the pleasure of visiting some of our wonderful local care homes to deliver beautiful pots of daffodils to celebrate the arrival of spring and the upcoming Mothering Sunday this weekend. 🌼

Our Funeral Director, Emma, is always passionate about supporting the care homes in our community. Whether it’s donating a hamper for a raffle, offering guidance and support around grief and bereavement, or simply joining in with community activities, Emma is always happy to lend a helping hand.

Building strong relationships with the amazing teams who care for our community means so much to us, and it was lovely to spend a little time brightening the day with some spring flowers.

🐣 Easter Egg Appeal for Francis House Children’s Hospice 🐣

This Easter, we’re delighted to support the incredible work of Francis House Children’s Hospice, and we’d love your help to bring a little extra joy to the children and families they care for. 💛

We are kindly asking for donations of Easter eggs — big or small, every single one will make a difference. Your generosity will help brighten the holiday for children facing the toughest of challenges.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at our branch, Ashton Brookes Funeral Directors, during our usual opening hours.

All Easter eggs collected will be delivered directly to Francis House in time for Easter.

🌼Remembering Mum this Mother’s Day🌼

As Mother’s Day approaches, we know this can be a deeply emotional time for those whose mums are no longer with us. Whether your loss is recent or many years have passed, the love and memories you carry remain forever.

To honour all the wonderful mums we hold in our hearts, Ashton Brookes has created a Remembrance Tree in our branch. You are warmly invited to come in and hang a memory tag on our tree….a name, a message, a moment, or simply a few words of love. Our doors are open, and you’re welcome to take a quiet moment of reflection whenever you need.

Today we had the privilege of supporting a truly special farewell ❤️

Altrincham Crematorium was filled with a sea of red as family and friends honoured a devoted Manchester United fan with a fitting tribute. Scarves, shirts, and touches of red throughout the service reflected a lifetime of passion for the club and created a warm, personal atmosphere to celebrate their life.

It’s always an honour to help families create meaningful and personal farewells. Thinking of everyone who came together today to remember and celebrate a life so clearly loved 🔴

Today we had the honour of supporting the family and friends of a much-loved lady as they gathered at St Mary’s Church in Bowdon to celebrate her life and say their final goodbyes.

It was a touching and dignified service, filled with warm memories, reflection, and love for someone who will be deeply missed. Seeing family and friends come together to honour a life so well lived is always a reminder of how important these moments are.

At Ashton Brookes Funeral Directors, it is always a privilege to guide families through such an important day and help create a meaningful and personal farewell. Our thoughts remain with the family and everyone who knew and loved her 🤍🕊️

This week, we were reminded that comfort can come in many forms. 🐾💛

We had a very special visitor stop by the funeral home sweet Rue, our little therapy puppy friend and she brought so many smiles and so much calm with her. In a place where emotions can feel heavy, Rue’s gentle presence was a beautiful reminder of how healing even the smallest moments can be.

Our team is so grateful for the work we get to do each day, and for the people (and pups!) who help bring light and comfort to those who need it most.

Thank you, Rue, for spending time with us this week. You are always welcome here. 🤍🐶
