Join us for our upcoming Supper Club evening in Amersham on 21 May.

This relaxed and welcoming gathering offers an opportunity to connect with like-minded women, enjoy meaningful conversation, and experience the Sekawomen community in an informal and accessible way. Designed as a low-key, relaxed, and bite-sized entry point into our world, these events are a chance to step away from the pace of everyday life and take a little time out for yourself.

With the momentum of Spring, we often find ourselves pushing through brain fog or low energy, promising ourselves we’ll "reset later." This evening is your chance to do things differently.

What to expect: We are delighted to be joined by Nutritional Therapist Alex Brown, who will open our evening with a talk on nourishment and self-kindness. It’s a "soul-feeding" session designed to help you support your body as the season shifts without pressure, restriction, or perfection. We’ll enjoy a delicious three-course supper in the cosy surroundings of Zaza, complete with wine, and time to simply kick back and enjoy some well-deserved me-time.

Whether you are new to Sekawomen or have joined us before, we’d love to welcome you.

Perfection is the enemy of peace.

We often wait for the "right time" to prioritize ourselves, but life doesn’t magically slow down. I’ve realized that "done" is far more powerful than "perfect" especially when it comes to tools that can help someone breathe a little easier today.

My digital resources are designed for the busy woman juggling multiple roles:

7 Ways to Better Self-Care (Free): Focused on "Habit Anchoring" and rewriting your definition of productivity.

The 90-Minute Reset: A digital audit to help you identify your true priorities for the next 30 days and take the one action you’ve been avoiding.

The Confidence & Boundaries Booster: A toolkit to help you manage your capacity. It includes a "Conversation Planner" to help you navigate those tricky discussions at work or home.

An easy start: You can access both the Reset and the Booster for £44.

We invite you to join our upcoming Sekawomen day-retreat at Pendley Manor on 16 May.

Set within the beautiful surroundings of this peaceful and elegant venue, this retreat offers a dedicated space to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself as the season continues to unfold.

As we move further into Spring, there is often a sense of momentum building around us. At the same time, it can also be a moment to check in, reset and consider how we want to move forward over the coming months with greater clarity and intention.

This day-retreat is designed to create that space.

Through guided sessions, thoughtful conversation and time for reflection, you’ll be supported to explore where you are, what you need and how you want to approach the months ahead. It’s an opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life and reconnect with yourself in a calm and supportive environment.

As with all Sekawomen day-retreats, the experience combines insight, practical tools and meaningful discussion, allowing you to take something away that continues to support you beyond the day itself.

You’ll also have time to enjoy the surroundings, connect with other women and simply be, without pressure or expectation.

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring evening at our London Supper Club on 14 May.

Set in a warm and welcoming environment, this gathering offers an opportunity to pause, connect and enjoy meaningful conversation with like-minded women, away from the pace of everyday life.

Hosted by Christina Fee, Founder of Sekawomen, the evening will bring together good food and thoughtful discussion in a relaxing atmosphere. Our guest speaker for the evening, Louise Leech, Copywriter & Storyteller is a passionate advocate for the power of writing as a tool for self-expression. Louise’s work focuses on helping women rediscover their voice through reflective writing.

Guided by Louise, you’ll be led through a series of carefully considered prompts designed to help you slow down, tune in, and create space for your own thoughts. It is the perfect, grounding antidote to the pace and pressure of a modern, "always-on" digital life.

As with all Sekawomen Supper Clubs, this is not just about listening, but about creating space for conversation, connection and shared experience. An opportunity to hear different perspectives, reflect on your own journey and leave with fresh insights.

You’ll be welcomed with a glass of fizz on arrival and enjoy a delicious three-course meal, plus wine, with plenty of time to engage throughout the evening.

The Power of the "Graceful No"

We often treat "No" like a confrontational word…a door slamming shut.

But when we look at it through the lens of our wellbeing, a "No" to someone else is almost always a "Yes" to ourselves. It’s a "Yes" to our capacity, our mental peace, and our ability to show up fully for the things we’ve already committed to.

The struggle is that many of us are "recovering people-pleasers." We may worry that saying no makes us seem difficult, unkind, or unhelpful. In reality, a clear, honest "No" is far kinder than a resentful, half-hearted "Yes."

It applies everywhere:

Socially: Saying no to an event because your battery is at 5%.

Personally: Saying no to a favor that compromises your own boundaries.

Internally: Saying no to the pressure of "keeping up" or being everywhere at once.

Learning to say no isn’t about being closed off or selfish; it’s about being selective about how and where we apply our time and energy. When you stop saying "Yes" out of obligation, the "Yeses" you do give carry so much more weight and sincerity.

When the world feels uncertain, we have to be fiercely protective of our inner calm.

Here is how I’m drowning out the "reactive noise" right now and choosing intentional presence instead:

Screen-Free Sunrise: No phone, no news, and no social media the minute I wake up.
Nature & Gratitude: Taking a moment to notice the trees and the weather. Being slow and deliberate with gratitude for a new day.

Connection: Thinking of loved ones and sending positive energy (and the occasional voice note) to those who need it most.

Mindful Rituals: Using meditation and the actual process of getting ready as a way to ground myself.

Intentional News: Limiting news consumption to once a day, or every other day - and never last thing at night - to keep the "wibbly wobbly" feelings at bay.

Small actions, big impact. 🌿

Sekawomen provides calm, soul-nourishing spaces for women to pause, reset, and be inspired. My goal—as those who have followed the journey so far know—is to guide you away from 'reactive noise' and toward a life of intentional presence.

But how do you actually start when your mental tabs are already full?

I’ve designed a simple, three-step journey to help you move from overwhelm to calm. It’s an accessible way to experience the Sekawomen philosophy, starting exactly where you are today.

Step 1: The Foundation (Free)
The "Seven Easy Steps to Self-Care" guide is a practical, high-impact checklist designed for the woman juggling multiple roles who needs to reclaim her "mojo" and restore balance quickly. You can find this right at the bottom of my homepage.

Step 2: The 90-Minute Reset
Once you’ve started with the basics, I invite you to go deeper. The 90-Minute Reset is a digital "rescue mission" for your mind. It’s a guided audit to help you filter your worries, unpack the noise, and find clarity in under two hours.

Step 3: The Confidence & Boundaries Booster
The final piece of the puzzle is protection. Once you find your calm, you need to know how to keep it. This booster is your toolkit for the Art of the Graceful No, helping you set the boundaries that allow you to show up as your boldest, most authentic self.

The Insider Tip: I’ve kept these tools low-cost (£44 for both digital products) because I want this level of support to be available for everyone.

How to start your journey: Head to the link below, grab your free guide, and follow the prompts to add the Reset and Booster to your toolkit.

Silencing the Imposter Syndrome Gremlin 👀

That voice that says:
“You’re not ready.”
“Someone else could do this better.”
“You don’t know what you’re doing.”

Here’s what I’ve learned after years in leadership and working with women:
Imposter syndrome isn’t a lack of capability.
It’s a deep-rooted fear that we’re not enough.

So we overthink, hesitate and hold ourselves back.

Here’s how to shift it:

✨ You don’t need all the answers.
“I don’t know yet, but I’ll find a way.”

✨ Be fully yourself.
Your empathy, intuition and warmth are strengths, not weaknesses.

✨ Don’t fight the voice, question it.
“How much of this is actually true?”

✨ Be open to failure.
Confidence grows through doing, not waiting.

✨ You don’t have to do it all.
Collaborate. Ask for support.

✨ Do the thing anyway.
Confidence comes after action, not before.

That voice may not disappear, but it doesn’t have to take over.

What happened when you did something despite feeling unready?

Join us for a relaxed and uplifting evening at our Supper Club in Gerrards Cross.

Set in the heart of Spring, this gathering is an opportunity to take time out and enjoy meaningful conversation in a warm and welcoming setting. It’s an evening designed around self-care and giving yourself a well-deserved pause.

Hosted by Christina Fee, this intimate Supper Club will take place in the cosy surroundings of Koko’S, beginning with a glass of fizz on arrival, followed by a delicious three-course supper, tea and coffee.

During the evening, you’ll hear insights from Personal Stylist Alice Barnes and professional make-up artist Beccy Brotherton.

Alice believes personal style is not about trends or rules, but about expressing who you are and how you want to feel. She will share what she sees time and again with women who have lost touch with their wardrobes, and how reconnecting with how you present yourself can be a powerful act of self-expression and self-love.

Beccy brings a refreshingly honest approach to beauty, focusing on how simple, everyday rituals can help women feel more confident. Drawing on her experience of working with women from all walks of life, she will explore how small shifts can change how we feel about ourselves and help us rediscover our spark.

This evening offers space to listen, reflect and take away simple, practical ideas for looking after yourself, while connecting with other like-minded women and enjoying some well-deserved fun me-time.

Taking time out for yourself is not something you need to earn.

It’s something you deserve and need.

In our fast-paced increasingly digital and AI enabled world, where speed is a default setting - the pressure to keep going can make slowing down feel unnatural and at times, uncomfortable. This can bring pressure to do more, achieve more, and be more available to others.

It can feel counter-intuitive to stop, yet it’s during those moments where we choose to pause that we can tap into what we really need and want.

To notice what we’ve been carrying.
To recognise where things are out of balance…and to plan how to restore and reclaim ourselves.

This weekend, say no to something, or book a me-time slot in your diary.

No expectations, no outcome, just space.
