After having a flurry of new page likes recently (thank you!) I decided it was about time I actually started writing here.

It’s been almost a year since starting this journey and it has been an honour to meet and talk with the families I have been asked to look after during this time.

To hear memories of their loved ones and help create a personal tribute with those memories, is something that I will always be humbled by and passionate about.

Yes, I still get the shakes and the nerves when we get to the actual ceremony, but this is completely due to the fact I care so deeply. I have been trusted with something so very special, so important and I don't want to let anyone down.

Will the shakes and wobbles ever stop? I hope so :) will I ever stop caring as much as I do? No ~ that's one thing that will never change.

Hey, how are you?

For lots of people, darker days and constant rain can see our mood starting to dip. For others, this is seen as an opportunity for cosy nights in and time to relax.

Whichever side you fall on, or if you're in-between, I hope you're ok and finding reasons to smile 😊

If you are struggling, take a moment for yourself to breathe, be kind to yourself and do what you need to do to get through the storms.

It can't rain all the time 💞

Welcome to my page :)

One of the most asked questions I've had since choosing this path is "What is a funeral celebrant?" so for those who don't know, I'll add a link below that explains all.

I'm going to use this page to share information, thoughts and poetry. I hope to help make 'death' less of a taboo subject, it's something we all have to face, yet is something we shy away from talking about.

Alongside the celebrant training, I have also completed a Grief and Bereavement Counselling Diploma so please feel free to message me privately if you have any questions or feel there is anything I can help with.
