Wand of the day!
Take a gander at this perfectly imperfect Ash wand 😍 with a natural hagstone like hole where a knot came out during the sanding process.
Wow just look at that grain after it had a bath in food safe wood oil. I'm mesmerised!

Finally after a year out of the shed and away from my craft for health reasons, I managed to get out there for a few hours today to finish this peice (still want to add more to it now the more I look at it) and made a start on a knobbly wand which I will get photos and footage of tomorrow as i work on it a little more 😁

Managed to get out to the workshop today to do a bit of cleaning before getting back in there full time.after a year of not being able to do much in there the dust and clutter has piled up!

Unfortunately phone signal is rubbish here so we are looking into ways to boost our WiFi out to the garage/workshop to get some live streams going.

Its okay to take things slow in January, theres no rush. January is meant for rest and planning. life begins again at the first signs of spring, as the world is beginning to warm up again, at imbolc/ "the blessing of the plough" where humans would begin to prepare the fields for the upcoming agricultural year.

So if you havent started your newyears resolutions yet, or life still feels sluggish and the dark mornings and evenings are still slowing you down, go easy on yourself, now is the time for gentle planning and self care.

Hello my lovelies, I'm baaack. Happy new year to you all!

2025 was a rough year for this whimsical witch, after a long stint in hospital, being tube fed for 4 months and multiple complications I took most of the year off from working and worked on getting myself well.

I'm hoping to get back in the shed this week!
I am planning on doing a body doubling live stream over on tiktok whilst I tidy up the work space ready to make more wonderful products for markets and our etsy and vinted stores later this week, I will post on here to let you all know when I am live.

Hopefully 2026 will bring new adventures and new opportunities for us all.

I will be teaching Buckskin Making for 4 days this August in Kirkpatrick Fleming, on 14th to 17th August and YOU can book a space to come and make your own hide.

It will involve camping at a small, well placed campsite just off the M74/M6. We will learn how to treat a deerskin for hair removal, rawhide creation and further on, to cure the hide and how to make it stay cured.
At the end of the course you should have a beautiful hide to take away that you have made yourself.

This is a very physically intense project and will involve a moderate amount of core strength use. However, if you have any physical limitations I will do my best to work out a way to make this do-able. Get in contact and we will see if we can work something out!
