"The whole level of care provided was of the highest quality." 👏

The Mid Ulster Minor Injuries Unit received a lovely compliment from a mother whose son suffered an injury on the rugby pitch.

If you or a loved one experiences a sports injury, remember that Phone First can triage over the phone and it is the quickest way to get the right care, in the right place, at the right time 🏥

Congratulations to our newly qualified paediatric nurses who took part in our recent induction programme hosted by Paediatric Practice Educators Lisa English and Ruth Hannah 🙌

The graduates are working in posts across our acute wards, community children’s nursing services, and Antrim ED.

The induction programme aims to welcome them to our Trust while celebrating the successful completion of their training 👏

Congratulations to Alison McNeill who is celebrating 30 years as a valued member of the occupational therapy administration team at Whiteabbey Hospital 🥳

Thanking Alison for her years of dedicated service, Clinical Lead for OT Patricia McIlwaine said: “Alison began her career with us in December 1995 and has given 30 years of dedicated commitment to the team.

“Although initially based on the Whiteabbey site, she has in recent years also supported the development of occupational therapy outpatient services across the Trust 🏥

“Alison is a very highly respected member of the team and is always willing to go the extra mile for her colleagues and the needs of the service”.

Thank you, Alison, for your support and commitment through the years ❤️

We're delighted to share some of the positive feedback we have received from our Radiology Patient Satisfaction Survey 👏

Patient feedback really matters to us and it’s encouraging to hear that patients and service users are impressed with the care they’ve received.

The survey is still open until the end of March, so if you’ve recently had a radiology appointment, we’d love to hear from you ➡️ https://orlo.uk/Radiology-Survey_qJReA

We’re helping children who are experiencing the loss of a loved one by introducing a new selection of supportive books in Antrim Area Hospital and Causeway Hospital 📚

With options to suit all ages, the books are now available for families to use as they navigate grief and bereavement — offering comfort, understanding, and space to talk.

This initiative has been made possible by support from our Organ Donation Committee, following a suggestion from staff in our Emergency Departments (ED) and Intensive Care Units (ICU) 🏥

A small gesture which we hope will make a meaningful difference 🫶
