As far as I’m aware, KCR isn’t something widely available in Dundee, which feels a shame because so many people live with persistent niggles, tightness or discomfort that they’ve simply learned to put up with.

Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) is a gentle whole-body treatment designed to address compensations and imbalances that can contribute to:

🏃 Marathon runners, this one’s for you…

Race day is nearly here. Months of training can leave the body tighter, more uneven, or carrying little niggles that have gradually become the “new normal”.

Calves working overtime. Hips feeling stiff. One side taking more load. Feet, Achilles or IT band grumbling. Shoulders and upper body holding tension.

I work with quite a few runners and Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) is one of my most requested treatments for people in training.

🌊 A bit different from my usual posts…
I was clearing out old photos on my phone recently and realised I seem to have collected an awful lot of beaches, cliffs, lochs and sea views over the years, from Angus to much further afield.

I’ve always loved walking near the sea. There’s something about fresh air, climbing dunes or coastal paths, and simply that seems to clear the mind and invigorate the body and soul.

This post partly inspired by a lovely client sharing photos of climbing the steep sand dunes at Lunan Bay to help train for Ben Nevis this summer ⛰️ It got me thinking about how often places become attached to memories, effort, milestones, or stages of life. I ended up pulling together some favourite photos and realised each one carries a feeling or memory for me.
