I am full of gratitude and admiration for my Reiki 2 students, who showed up on their healing journey to becoming a qualified practitioner.

I feel that there is still such a powerful energy in Reiki and place for it I n the world today. Frequencies are changing and the grounding energy that reiki can bring is exactly the medicine needed for so many on this planet. It has its own intelligence and knows what frequencies to bring, and it is upgrading with the earths upgrades and solar light we just have to be attended and work with it. It’s a natural healing life force that should be a part of us all and it can help people feel and strengthen their connection to the living world especially if they’ve been cut off from that energy. Reiki comes from the heart, and this is how we live in the fifth dimension reality, as we open ourselves to this more and more and are able to work with more practitioners who offer this therapy we can make changes for the better.

Congratulations, Joeli and Tracey. Thank you for a wonderful weekend of learning. Your focus and devotion really showed through and all the work you done from Reiki has really paid off. I am not able to do what I do without you. I am a teacher of healing modalities to spread their power and wisdom, and it my greatest hope that my students become fully qualified practitioners out on this world where it is needed. Thank you for showing up as students so I can teach. And to all my Reiki teachers, lineage and Dr. Usui, thank you.

THE BREATH

…an Armagh woman who embodies so much of the wildness of Macha through her soul-stirring voice and presence, Ríoghnach Connolly will be returning home to perform with her multiple award winning duo, The Breath.

Other than expressing our deepest gratitude for their support and the energy they are bringing to Macha Alive, what else can we say? So we’ll let their bio speak for itself:

‘The Breath is Manchester-based guitarist Stuart McCallum and singer/flautist Ríoghnach Connolly. They met on the city’s gig circuit in the late noughties. An unlikely pairing though it was, he an acclaimed guitar whiz, ex long-time member of The Cinematic Orchestra and a softly spoken Manchester urbanite, she a folk singer with a larger-than-life personality and a powerful voice to match. Their connection was immediate; they formed The Breath in 2016, a singer-songwriter duo to present their contemporary take on alt-folk.

For them, it’s all about the song. Connolly is a storyteller and their exquisitely crafted, honest, personal, heartfelt songs are as likely to touch on childhood summers and first love as cultural dislocation, post- colonial injustices and grief. But it’s Ríoghnach’s impassioned delivery and extraordinary stop-you-in- your-tracks voice, coupled with Stuart’s understated brilliance that is so engaging.’

Those of you who were at Macha Alive last year will remember Hawthorn and Stone. We're excited to have him return again this year, with a new body of work.

Bio:
Hawthorn and Stone is a photographer whose work is deeply inspired by Ireland’s ancient sacred sites, mythic landscapes, and enduring folklore. His previous body of work explored the enigmatic Portal Tombs of Ulster, capturing their presence as both archaeological relics and living symbols of ancestral memory. In this presentation, he turns his lens toward one of Ireland’s most iconic and beloved creatures — the Irish Wolfhound — celebrating its powerful connection to myth, legend and the land itself.

Angelic Reiki 1st & 2nd Degree

This workshop imparts the unique system of Healing that is Angelic Reiki and is taught over 2 and a half days . Students are attuned to 1st and 2nd degree Angelic Reiki and a number of treatment methods are taught .
