For those of you that know me, or have been to one of my classes you will know that I swapped up teaching to start up my own baby classes Incredibabies this year after having Hettie. I am loving getting to work with so many amazing families and I would like to do anything I can to encourage more families to join me at my classes. I have the opportunity to be nominated for an award within the Nottingham baby and toddler community but I need help as the first step is to get lots of nominations to ensure I get shortlisted and then if shortlisted my business name will go out to the community so people can vote. (This will hopefully bring even more wonderful families my way)

What an amazingly fabulous week for Incredibabies. I opened my brand new classes in Hucknall on Wednesday and met some wonderful new families. Our story in both Hucknall and Arnold was a Percy the Park keeper tale of ‘One Snowy Night’ the babies enjoyed lights, bubbles, snowmen and a range of lovely animals 🥰 I am really looking forward to ‘Stickman’ next week which will be the final session of this half term in Arnold and a chance to meet lots more new families in Hucknall. There are still spaces on all of the classes if you would like to join me next week. Don’t forget to book onto one of my Christmas Special the following week spaces are just £5 and are filling fast ###

Hi everyone my name is Helen and I am a qualified primary school teacher. I started Incredibabies earlier this year whilst on Mat leave with my little girl. Each session is based around a different children’s story. We use music, movement and lots of sensory story magic.

If you’ve never been to an Incredibabies session before, here’s exactly what to expect…

👋🏻Hi, I’m Helen, a fully qualified primary teacher and creator and leader of Incredibabies, story based sensory classes suitable from birth- 48months.

We have 2 classes in Hucknall each Wednesday,
✨10am - non- movers and early crawlers
✨11.30am crawlers and walkers -48 months

When you arrive, you’ll step into a bright, welcoming space filled with beautiful themed resources laid out on the mat — each week is different, inviting your little one to explore something new. From our dreamy starry-night cloths to our magical under-the-sea waves, everything is designed to spark curiosity and wonder.

You’ll find homemade sensory resources to touch, shake, squeeze and explore, with gentle lights, sounds and textures to captivate your baby. Each activity offers chances for big movements (stretching, rolling, reaching) and fine-motor play (grabbing, pressing, tapping), all at your baby’s pace.

But the heart of the session is connection:
🤍 Special bonding time between you and your little one
🤍 A calm, friendly environment where every parent feels welcome
🤍 And I make sure to build a genuine connection with every family — you won’t feel like just a number
🤍 We always end with story time with our little ones and a treat for the grown ups!

And yes… we always find time for bubbles! 🫧 Babies LOVE them, and honestly, so do I.

If you’re feeling excited… or a little nervous about trying a class for the first time — you’ll be absolutely fine. Everyone in Hucknall will be new this week, and I’ll be right there to guide you through every moment.

🌧️🚜 What a morning down on the farm with Little Blue Truck! 🐷🐮

Today’s classes were full of giggles, splashes and sensory magic as our little ones joined Blue on his muddy farmyard adventure! 💙

From zooming vehicles through the “fields”, to splashing in puddles and dancing through our rain hoop, our babies explored so many textures, sounds and movements — all perfectly designed to support early development while having a really good time.

We loved practising our animal signs (hello pig, cow and duck! 👋) and moving to the rhythm with music, shakers and farmyard beats. It was the perfect mix of storytelling, movement and sensory wonder.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today — your little farmers were amazing! 👶🌾

We had lots of Splashing fun today at Incredibabies with Somebody Swallowed Stanley! Everyone loved the under the sea cloth and of course our magical light up Jellyfish! We did lots of singing, dancing and bobbing up and down! Next week we are going down on the farm with ‘The little blue truck’ there are still spaces on both our 10am (non-movers) and 12.40pm (walkers) slots! Finally, a massive Thank you to all the lovely families who donated gifts to be given to the Salvation Army Christmas gift collection.
