After a busy day in clinic, I’m finishing with a return-to-play assessment for a patient returning to football.

This is something I incorporate as standard in my practice—return-to-play testing is essential to evaluate strength, function, and confidence before full return to sport. Keeping patients safe is always the priority.

Just wanted to jump on to share a success story from clinic recently.

Patient X has been struggling with knee pain that was restricting them from doing daily activity and affecting their gardening. They started working with me in January and through exercises, treatment and goal setting we have made some major progress in day to day activity for them.

There’s still further to go but we will keep improving week by week!

Day in the life of a self employed osteopath, splitting my clinic between Ascot in the morning before jumping in the car and heading off to a home visit for a patient
Who unfortunately cannot make it into clinic anymore.

After seeing that Patient, I made my way back to the clinic where I was seeing seven patients back to back to finish the day.

Even though it was a tough day at work it is ever so rewarding helping people feel stronger, Move better and reduce their pain!

After finishing clinic I made my way back home where instead of my easy run I completed 40 minutes on the spin bike as I continue my training for Bracknell half marathon in 10 days time.

A busy end to the season with our penultimate trip down South, unfortunately a 2-0 defeat but we have another chance to redeem ourselves next week!

Today we played Farnham town away in a game which we was not expected to pick up any points from.

I started off with the usual treatments before the game, then leading the warm-ups and then left the lads to do the rest

A great 3-1 win in the Sun with fantastic support from the Robins supporters

Early start in clinic this morning seeing private patients before heading down to Poole Town FC, flying high in the league.
Pre-match treatments done ✅
Warm-ups completed ✅
Solid performance from the lads, finishing 0-0 and taking a well-earned point
Straight back to it now… Weymouth at home this Friday!

A day in the life ⚽️💆‍♂️

Early start in the gym with my brother Josh—starting the day right and getting the body moving.

Then into clinic for a full day of hands-on work, helping people move better and feel stronger.

Finishing the day under the lights at Bracknell Town FC, looking after the players—keeping them fit, treated, and ready to perform.
Long days, but wouldn’t have it any other way!

Worked this week with dealing with both lower and mid-back tightness. Our focus was on improving mobility through the thoracic spine, releasing tension in the lumbar region, and restoring better movement patterns overall. By combining targeted soft tissue work with controlled mobility exercises, we aimed to reduce stiffness, improve posture, and help them move more freely day-to-day. Progress is all about consistency and building a body that moves well, not just feels better 👍
