Harnessing the energy and power of physical body and the spiritual mind is impossible without with constant practice of standing meditation to relax, deepen our breathing to calm the mind and muscles of the body. The huge physically functional strength that we gain from this practice is just a by product, a hugely beneficial one, I will grant you but a by product it is.
Breathing and breath isn't looked at to closely in the modern fitness industry but is something as a personal trainer i am constantly having to train people to do properly. You will be surprised by the amount of people who don't know how to breath naturally and their physical strength and fitness training suffers because of this.
That's why standing meditation training is the foundation and bedrock of all the five training principles that we use in Hybrid, Body, Mind, Strength and Fitness and the understanding of propper breath technique and of the breat is key to harnessing the bodies vital energy and physical power. Breath is realy the main source of energy for your body during activity and inactivity.
Few people give breath and breathing much thought. Even though it is the only vital function of the body we can consciously control at will.
Breathing and especially the way we breath has a profound effect not only on energy or the bodies ability to cope with stress but on over all physical and mental health.
Changing the way we breath can give us control and regulation of our nervous system that will not only help us to gain more physical and muscular strength, simply because we can endure physical stress for longer periods from standing meditation practice but also to gain control of the bodies vital energy and direct it to whare it is most needed. Breathing and meditation also regulate our emotions.
For thousands of years the west and the modern fitness industry has overlooked the link between meditation and huge functional strength gains that can be made using regulated breathing and the postures over time instead of weights or exercise equipment of any sort. Over my 35 years of living an unconventional strength and fitness training lifestyle I have always known the true power producing effects of correct and sustained breathing practices and the effect this has on physical output. But I can honestly say that this latest of my many fitness journeys has provided me with the missing link to boosting physical and mental efficiency, health, wellness and vitality.
So if you want to step away from the gym and artificial training environments and want create a deeper more profound connection between mind and body and want reep all the mental and physical rewards. Then you need to step into standing meditation that will help you gain more from all the physical components of hybrid-body-mind-strength-and-fitness, than if you you just trained them on there own.
Don't have much space to work out? Don't have and weights orvexercise equipment? Standing meditation training is your answer for a great home strength training workout as you don't need any dumbells or barbells to gain muscular strength , you can even do it in a cupboard.
