What is cow face pose?

The crossed legs create the cow’s snout and mouth, and the arms create the cow’s ears.

Benefits of Cow face position

2️⃣It aids chronic knee pain.
3️⃣It strengthens spine and abdominals.
4️⃣It helps decompress low spine.
5️⃣It clears hip joint.

Yoga Pose Seated Spinal Twist 🙏

Three different ways to achieve the benefits from seated spinal twist.

1. Beginner's practice
Sit comfortably on mat
Stretch both legs straight and then slowly bend your right knee and bring it close to your chest area.
Take the right foot opposite the left thigh. Keep breathing and then inhale deeply. Stretch your left arm up and hold your right knee. Push the right knee closer to your abdominal muscles. Put the right palm opposite the right hip.
Look to the right side of your body and lengthen your spine while sitting (do not bend). Hold the posture for 3 to 4 rounds of breath.

Keep breathing
Again inhale, stretch left arm up and bring it down with exhalation. Take right back to normal and stretch your both legs.

2. Intermediate's practice
Sit comfortably inhale and exhale
Allow your legs to Stretch on the mat. Keep breathing
Inhale and bend your left knee just opposite to the right hip.
Exhale take your right leg bend your knee on the top of left side.
Inhale and Stretch your left arm up give length to your spine and press your abdominal muscle with right thigh.
Exhale and turn your body to the right side and look to the right side. Right is resting on the mat.
Hold it for 4 to 5 breath.

3. Advance pose
Sit in a comfortable position Stretch both legs
Take your left leg beside the right hip
Bend your right knee over the the left leg
Inhale and Stretch your left hand up and bring it out from under the right knee and take your right hand back and hold the left hand and locked the pose.
Hold the pose for 3 rounds of breath.

Benefit of Seated spinal twist

It improves digestion.
It increases the spinal flexibility.
A good way to stimulate internal organs.
Chest opening
Detox your body
It may help to lower sugar level in the body.
De stress.

Always do your practice under the supervision of yoga teacher.

Yoga is a life of integrity and honesty. Physical postures or asanas are not Yoga. Yoga means to know yourself from inside and see the entire universe with in you. Yoga means leaving no space for doubt, leaving no space for dependence.

Yoga means self- realisation which means fulfilment of own's potential.

One’s primal purity, in which the mind is not at all conditioned or stained, that is Yoga.🧘‍♀️

YOGA AND DANCE IS FOR OUR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH. BOTH WORKOUTS ARE WONDERFUL TO INCREASE HAPPINESS, STRENGTH AND METABOLISM.

6-7 AM Pre-OFFICE YOGA Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

6:30-7:30 PM POST OFFICE EVENING YOGA Monday, Wednesday and Friday

MONTHLY FEE £75 for 12 classes in a month.
