FREE - Family Learning days at WELLIES - FOR DERBYSHIRE RESIDENTS.

Wellies Project run therapeutic activities with animals, plants, creativity and the countryside for people with anxiety. We are piloting some activities with young people for two sessions in the summer holidays.

We will be campfire cooking, gardening, creating structures from Willow and doing a variety of crafts.

Join us for one or both days.

WELLIES Family Activity Days

10:00am – 3:00pm
Chapel on the Hill, Somersall Herbert. DE6 5PE

Importantly, this is a Family Day, and we warmly invite parents and carers to stay and take part alongside their children. (Min age 5)

Charlotte and the Leek volunteer team attended a Wellbeing event at John Hall Wellness Garden in Leek yesterday to promote Autumn courses and to sell some lovely plants, jam and other produce. These fun, creative activity days are designed to support children’s wellbeing, confidence, and connection with others—through hands-on experiences like gardening, cooking, nature-based crafts, and outdoor activities.

Importantly, this is a Family Day, and we warmly invite parents and carers to stay and take part alongside their children. We’ve found that shared experiences like these can create wonderful memories and help strengthen bonds at home too. For familys with children age 7-11 who would benefit form well-being activities.
