The Derbyshire Community Herbalist Feel tired, down, stressed or suffer from any number of common/ unusual symptoms? Live in Derbyshire

I’ve worked in healthcare for 20 years, mainly as a Registered Nurse within the District setting, NHS24 and Marie Curie, specialising in triage, wound-care, emergency and palliative health, before gaining a First-class honours degree in Herbal Medicine at the University of Lincoln. I first became interested in Herbal Medicine about 6 years ago, partly via limited personal use and partly by being frustrated at the lack of true life improvement for many of my NHS patients and by being baffled at an improvement/ easement for certain patients who took (often against our advice) strange potions and teas. I offer a form of holistic treatment, which utilises the latest scientific and empirical evidence to inform upon which herbs, lifestyle and dietary advice you require. Always supported by my decades of nursing knowledge, skills and experience. Focused by my BSc which included; pathophysiology, biochemistry, nutrition, phytochemistry and pharmacy, psychology and herbal therapeutics. Along with the same OSCE clinical skills every doctor is taught and 500+ hours of herbal medicine clinical practice.

Around Easter I will be killing off this business name and image, and relaunching a new image/ name, starting on here and other social media, followed by a new website. Lots of work but about time.

The final sentence describes why orthodox medicine is a big a opposition to health as it is a proponent.

"Despite the promising potential of Sch B and magnolia berry extract in treating cancer, the high costs of clinical trials and the inability to patent natural products pose significant barriers to their approval as medical treatments"

A fruit used in Chinese medicine contains a compound that is very effective against colon cancer, according to a new study. The compound in the plant is called Schisandrin B, and is found in a plant often referred to as five-flavor berry or magnolia berry.
