We’ve made the difficult decision to increase our communal sauna price from £12 to £15.
Almost every other wild sauna out there is charging £15 per 50-60 minute session (many a bit more!). And now I know why!
Let’s put it down to a combination of naivety to the true cost and time of operating a sauna, plus a real passion and desire to make the sauna & plunge experience as affordable and accessible as possible.
But things need to add up at this end too! So here we are, and I hope that everyone in the wonderful little sauna community we’ve been building can support and understand our decision.
Next year we plan to register as a social enterprise, meaning we’ll be ploughing all profits back into the business to support scaling our social and community goals, including offering free and subsidised sauna to those who need it most and getting involved in Social Prescribing.
Building a sustainable and profitable business first will mean we’re able to make this transition much smoother and have a bigger social impact in the long run.
