The people that do the best always put in the most effort in their rehab and I’m always happy but not surprised to see them do so well.
Three weeks to Christmas and I’m signing off for a couple of weeks to rest and recharge so book yourself in before the 19th December if you need any help.

Don’t be alarmed. The noises are side-effects of the movements being suddenly restored…nothing broken here! But very satisfying and full of relief.
If your body stiffens into certain patterns of movement, it doesn’t matter how much exercise you do, your body sometimes needs a helping hand…or two.

The first answer is much longer!
Think of a Physiotherapist as a body mechanic. Every moving part in your body from the joints, the muscles to the nerves needs movement to keep functioning.
When parts of the body stop moving as well as they should and either become restricted or move to excess, then pain is our body’s natural response.
A good Physiotherapist will assess the entire body (not just where you point to as the pain area) and be able to interpret why the area has become symptomatic and how to resolve it.
It may need exercise, strengthening, stretching, manipulation, deep massage, rehabilitation and inevitable education on how to prevent recurrence, which can be hard work, but it’s a complete service for improving and maintaining your body.
Here at with we work together to achieve the best. Once your injury has resolved, if you want to progress further, stronger and fitter we have the staff and the facilities to help you achieve your goals.
