I made these for the absolutely wonderful ❤ I didnt want her to leave

These are for her running shoes 🏃‍♀️

I've added an extra layer of cushioning on these

We also did a little ski boot tweek 🤓

And I think they look amazing. Tell me what you think?

I made these for a young woman who is suffering some pain in her feet, legs and and knees. In particular the right knee. And guess what? That right foot was in a world all of it's own 🤣🤓

So insoles were made. Not too stiff but lots of cushioned support 💪

These have gone in her football boots and everyday shoes ⚽️

👣 INSOLES VERSUS BAREFOOT SHOES 👣

I've met people who love both 👣❤👣❤

I personally like people to have choices and be comfortable 🙋‍♀️

I dont think there is a wrong answer. This person had tried barefoot shoes and the problems were not minimising. So let's try something else. Conversely there are people who swear by barefoot shoes and have found insoles to not work for them

I DO believe some insoles are made so badly they dont help - that's true too!

But what a wonderful thing it is to have choices. To be able to find out what works and what dosent

I have a customer who has his insoles in his barefoot shoes. Wondrous! It works for him even though on paper it shouldn't. But who cares 👣💪💙

So. As the debate continues I will be here if you want advice about how to help your feet be aligned.

These insoles needed to be quite stiff. There was some work to do. So the EVA layers are fairly structured. But flat feet tend to like support so adaption was fast 💨

These insoles are going to Nepal 🇳🇵

The amazing .73 is putting these in her hiking boots and up she goes. I am truly in awe of this amazing woman with her long distance running and the challenges she puts herself through. Hardcore 💪

What is the question I get asked the most often?......

"How did you end up doing this "👣

Well it all started like this........
My parents met in a ski resort. My pioneering grandparents had been skiers and it started there for my mum.
I fell into it by accident. It was never the grand plan. I went to uni and then ski seasons happened. Along the way I met some people who really nurtured and shaped my Interest. Two individuals who particularly helped me went on to also start businesses around biomechanics and movement.

And so that was that. Feet it is then 🤓

Last week I fitted some technical touring boots for a lovely chap and the brand is the same 50+ years on as the original boots that belong to my parents. I have them on display in the workshop and they look like real ankle snappers. It's a miracle people went more than once to be honest 🤕🤣

Made these beauties for a chap who is off on his travels to New Zealand soon. Loads of walking and hiking incoming. I also had the opportunity to adjust his ski boots a bit. He has tricky feet 🤓

Lucky I love a tricky foot👣

I used a thinner stiffer eva in the black and balanced it with slightly softer and thicker blue eva for maximum comfort and ridgidity.

I am available in my workshop in Ashford TW15 3BT and have some appointment slots free over the next week

As my winter in Ski Shops draws to a close this message came from a lady I'd helped in my workshop. She had tried various boots, people had had a try at helping her but nothing had quite worked. Theyd just not got to the base of it all, not really understood her maybe?

I'm a huge advocate of women helping women and really being in a position to understand what we need and how to find a solution 🎿

That's not to undermine my amazing male colleagues and friends. They are fabulous (mostly) 🤣 but sometimes it takes a woman to really understand another woman. That I believe and it is a hill I will die on 🙋‍♀️

So, those of you that know me know this isnt meant to be devisive. But as a rare woman in this world of skiing and ski boot fitting I feel super proud of this one

I continue to be busy in my workshop making insoles for day to day shoes and helping people. It's what I love ❤

Flat feet - I love them 🦶🙋‍♀️🤣

These are Sivas insoles which look fantastic as well as functional

He has worn insoles for years and understands their value but this time I was lucky enough that they chose me

I added an extra layer of cushioning for him under the topsheet but as always the colours reflect the densities and thicknesses of the foams, which I change depending on the person

Insoles fit for a princess 👸

Close enough. My amazing new customer Cinderella (Cindy) went away with these.

She has lots going on, but bottom line is we need to create better alignment for her on a daily basis and help with pain. And not just in her feet

Insoles can positively affect knees, hips, backs etc

Custom made for Udai 👣👣👣👣

A second pair for this lovely young man after a year of having some in his shoes already 🦶

Sometimes it can be challenging moving insoles around especially for teenagers doing so many activities, so a second pair has been made and fitted.

Once your feet and body feel the difference with insoles it's really hard to go without. The "new normal" is now just normal 🤓

Insoles work for everyone. You dont have to wait to for a problem to begin, you could stop it happening in the first place 💭

He has some foot pain and he dosent want it to hold back his hiking and long walks.

These went into his shoes and he immediately put them to the test walking home to Staines 👣

Insoles work and make a huge difference to people 🤩

I love being the person that can help make that change
