Last December I set goals with good intentions not knowing how the year would actually unfold.

I didn’t hit everything.
But I showed up more honestly than I ever have.

And that’s something I’m proud of.

If your year didn’t look perfect, it still counted.

At 35, I’m thinking a lot about who I want to be later,
and what I don’t want to regret.

So I’m focusing on the basics:
✔️ taking care of my body
✔️ eating in a way that supports me
✔️ enjoying life while I’m in it
✔️ saying no without guilt
✔️ and being fully, unapologetically myself

None of this is extreme, It’s just intentional

Because I don’t want to reach 75 and wish I’d listened to my body, trusted myself sooner, or enjoyed the moment more.

You get one because you don’t want to waste time guessing.

A coach gives you:
• clarity when you feel scattered
• accountability that actually sticks
• faster progress without years of trial and error
• confidence in your decisions
• an objective perspective on your blind spots
• consistency when motivation fades
• permission to prioritise yourself
• support without judgment
• momentum through aligned action
• long-term change, not quick fixes that don’t last

It’s not about being told what to do.
It’s about having someone help you do what you already know you’re capable of, consistently.

If you’re tired of circling the same goals, maybe it’s time to stop doing it alone.

A reminder to myself as much as it is to you guys 🤍

You don’t need to be thinking about your next goal if that’s just not what you’re feeling right now

If all you want to do is enjoy slowing down, allow yourself the space to do that!

There will still be time for new goals when you’re ready!

And don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying forget about December as Christmas is round the corner 🤣 I’m simply saying accept where you are at and don’t beat yourself up if it appears you are being slower or lazier or greedier than anyone else 😅❤️

You’ve been lied to about steps.

The 10,000 step rule didn’t come from science, it came from a 1960s marketing campaign for a pedometer.

And somewhere along the way, we turned it into a measure of “success” or “failure.”

Here’s the truth:
✅ You don’t need 10,000 steps to be healthy
✅ Huge benefits start around 6,000 steps
✅ ANY increase in movement matters
✅ Real health isn’t one number, it’s daily habits, strength, mobility, how you feel

So if 10,000 steps stresses you out?
You’re not the problem, the target is.

This week, aim for more than you’re doing now - not perfection.

2k to 4k is progress.
4k to 6k is progress.

Progress without pressure.
Movement without guilt.
Health without rules.

This has got to be one of the EASIEST chuck it together meals I have ever made!

Cook it in 10 minutes and you have a bloody lovely dinner AND a lunch prepped for the next day!

It’s healthy, high in protein, full of flavour, and will keep you full for hours 😍

Chicken & Sundried Tomato Pasta 🍝

Recipe makes 2 portions

Each portion gives you;
500 calories 🤩
46g protein 🤯

Ingredients:

🌟 300g chicken breast
🌟 100g pasta
🌟 60g sliced sundried tomatoes
🌟 40g sundried tomato paste
🌟 1 sweet bell pepper, chopped
🌟 large handful of baby spinach
🌟 large handful of cherry tomatoes halved

Recipe:
1. Put water for pasta on to boil
2. Cut chicken breasts into chunks
3. Start frying off the chicken for 2mins, then add pasta to the boiled water
4. Add sundried tomatoes, mixed peppers and cherry tomatoes to the chicken and cook for around 6-8 minutes until chicken is cooked through and tomatoes/peppers have softened
5. Add the tomato paste to the chicken and add 2 large spoonfuls of the pasta water - mix well
6. Add the spinach and stir everything together until the spinach is wilted
7. Once pasta is cooked, drain and add to the chicken
8. Dish up into 2 portions, and either enjoy one straight away or save both for lunches 😍

I also added olives and feta to mine - just remember if you are tracking calories this will add to the total!

The ‘high protein’ lie that’s costing you money AND results!

Here’s what food companies don’t want you to know:

HIGH PROTEIN is a marketing term, not a nutrition standard!

That cereal with High Protein all over the box? It has just 7g per serving - roughly the same amount as one egg!

And you’re paying 3x the price!

Meanwhile:

Regular Greek Yoghurt - 15g
A tin of tuna - 25g
A chicken breast - 30g

The worst part is that these products often have:
❌ tiny serving sizes
❌ added sugars to make them taste good
❌ more calories than the protein is worth
❌ premium prices for average nutrition

I’m not saying never buy them…
I’m saying READ THE LABEL!

Check the grams per serving, don’t fall for the claims on the front!

Save this so you don’t get fooled next time 📌

I never wanted to take medication. I thought it meant I was weak or broken. So I pushed my way through years of OCD and anxiety that I didn’t have to endure.

I tried everything else - CBT, counselling, a healthy diet, exercise, daily walks, all the self care…

These all helped, and still do! But for me, it wasn’t enough on its own.

When I finally started taking Sertraline, everything changed. I got to experience life without my brain working against me 24/7.

This little pill gave me my life back, and I wish I hadn’t waited so long!

I’m joining to help end the stigma around mental health and medication!

I’m not ashamed - I’m actually proud! Proud that I asked for help, proud that I take care of my mental health, and proud to share my story if it helps even one person stop suffering in silence! 🤍
