Tameside, Oldham & Glossop Mind Local Mind mental health charity TOG Mind delivering a range of services for your mental health. We also run various training courses throughout the year.

We offer different services in the Tameside, Oldham, Glossop and Stockport areas. It's our aim to provide help and support around all aspects of mental health and wellbeing. Our main areas of work are in Tameside, Oldham, Glossop, and Stockport although some of our work is delivered across Gtr Manchester. Unfortunately due to our funding, not all our services are available everywhere. Give us a call on 0161 330 9223. This page is monitored between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. We will respond to messages between these hours.

Bee Creative volunteer roles available!
Bee Creative is a space for young people aged 8 - 13 to express themselves and explore their mental health and wellbeing through arts and crafts. Sessions takes place on Wednesdays from 5-6pm and we are looking for volunteers available between 3-8pm each week.

You need to be reliable, turn up each week and take the lead on planning and delivering the session - with initial support and training provided.
Outside of 5 -6pm you will support our busy ‘drop-in’ by welcoming people who arrive and taking phone calls and being the welcoming face of our charity when young people arrive.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) Project Manager to join Tameside Oldham Glossop and Stockport Minds (TOGS Mind) Youth in Mind Directorate on a permanent basis, reporting to the CYPF Senior Manager.

As a CYPF Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of operational management and oversight of projects sitting within the CYPF directorate, including management of staff, service delivery, and achieving outcomes set out in key performance indicators (KPI). Our projects are specifically designed to support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people aged 8-18 and their family’s needs living in , and .

From 8am on Monday 3 November 2025, the 0800 crisis helplines currently run by Pennine Care and Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust will close.

If you or someone you know needs urgent mental health support, you can now:

Call NHS 111 and select option 2
Or visit 111.nhs.uk/triage/check-your-mental-health-symptoms

This new service, NHS 111 Mental Health, is available 24/7 and connects you directly with your local mental health team for immediate support. It’s free to call and can be used for yourself or someone else.

Please note that our services will be closed on Monday 20th October as our entire team will be attending a staff away day. This is a special opportunity for our newly merged , , and Mind to come together, reflect, and celebrate the hard work of our workforce.

We’ll resume normal operations on Tuesday 21st October at 8am, we appreciate your understanding and support.
