Message of Solidarity and Call to Action
From the Officer in Charge, Kalinga Filipino Organisation

To our beloved friends, families, and communities in the Philippines—especially in the Province of Cebu:

We stand with you in this hour of grief, resilience, and rebuilding. Typhoon Tino has left behind a trail of devastation that words can scarcely capture. Lives have been lost, homes shattered, and livelihoods swept away. But in the face of this tragedy, we affirm our deepest solidarity and unwavering support.

Let it be known: this is not merely a natural disaster. It is a human one—amplified by corruption, greed, and the reckless abuse of our environment. The suffering we witness today is the bitter fruit of systems that have failed to protect the people and the land we hold sacred.

We call on every Filipino—here and abroad—to rise with compassion and conviction. Let us care for one another, not only in relief but in justice. Let us demand accountability from those in power who have neglected their duty to safeguard our communities. Let us reject the silence that enables impunity.

To our leaders: the time for empty promises is over. We demand transparency, integrity, and urgent action. To our fellow citizens: let us be responsible stewards of nature, protectors of each other, and builders of a future rooted in truth and care.

Cebu, you are not alone. We see your pain. We honor your courage. And we commit ourselves to walk with you—not just in mourning, but in rebuilding, healing, and rising again.

With faith, fire, and fierce love,

A Call for Compassion and Solidarity: Let Us Bring Jojo Home

Dear Kalinga Filipino Organisation Family,

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and kababayan, Jojo Tributo. Jojo was more than a friend—he was a brother in service, a light in our community, and a source of quiet strength to many. His sudden departure has left a void in our hearts, and now, his family faces the difficult task of bringing him home to the Philippines for a proper farewell.

In times like these, we are reminded of the true essence of being Filipino: bayanihan, the spirit of helping one another. We humbly ask for your support—whether through a donation, sharing the message, or offering prayers. Every gesture, no matter how small, brings Jojo closer to the home he loved and the family who longs to embrace him one last time.

On behalf of the Kalinga Filipino Organisation, we extend our deepest prayers and unwavering support to our kababayans in Davao affected by the recent earthquake. In moments of trembling ground, it is the unshakable spirit of the Filipino that rises.

We have seen time and again how our people—rooted in faith, bound by bayanihan, and forged by adversity—stand tall amidst trials. The resilience of Davao is not just in its structures, but in its people: in every hand that helps, every heart that hopes, and every soul that refuses to give up.

Let us continue to lift one another, rebuild together, and believe that brighter days are ahead. You are not alone. We are with you—in prayer, in action, and in love.

Even as the ground shook and communities were tested, our unity stood firm. The recent earthquakes reminded us that compassion is stronger than tremors — and together, we can help rebuild what was broken. Through Oplan Kaagapay, we carry not only goods and aid but also hope and resilience for every Cebuano affected.

Dear Esteemed Members of the Filipino Community in the United Kingdom and Allies,
