Sponsored by WestCross Environmental Services Ltd the fellas were back to game action this afternoon against Tring Vets from the Home Counties Charity League in a friendly game.
Starting fairly well in the first half with a little
Control, Karl scored assisted by Paul M. Tring got back into the game with a number of chances, a number of great saves by Leigh in the mindset goal kept Tring at bay. The equaliser did come eventually and deservedly for Tring and if not for some great saves would have gone into half time with a lead.
The second half was another close encounter and a competitive half of football for both teams.
As the half went on, James B assisted by Karl gave Mindset the lead, Paul M with some great individual endeavour and finish with the third and final goal of the game. Another good showing from the fellas that played with a 3-1 win.
Well done to all from both teams and an excellent game of football 👏⚽️👏⚽️👏

No league games this weekend but plenty of football going on.
OB City take on the new Lads Speak Out team.
Tornadoes Vets Football take on league potentials Mindset United.

All the teams in the league play for some amazing charities. Including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity Mind MK Food Bank amongst others.

But we all take part for our mental health. Doing something positive on a Sunday. Coming together with friends. Forgetting about the world for 90 minutes.
Remember it’s ok to not be ok. Reach out and talk to someone. Check in on your mates. Take a moment to ask how someone is doing. You never know what someone is going through.

You never know, you might just help someone get through the day.
Mental Health matters. 💪⚽️❤️
