Friday football fun was on again last night for the Mindset community. 27 fellas spent 90 minutes playing football in a relaxed, friendly and fun environment. This most definitely is the best way to finish off the week.

Mindset United are proud to be taking a team to the Mental Health World Cup in May 2026, taking place at Millwall Football Club – and we need your support to help us get there.

Mindset United was founded less than 12 months ago with one clear purpose: supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing through football and community. What started as a small local session has grown into something truly special, and now our team has the incredible opportunity to represent Aylesbury on the world stage.

Our first freezing Friday session of the year.
26 turned up to run off the Xmas excess and get the year up and running with a little football and laughs.

Our final Friday session of the year last night and what an amazing journey it’s been this year. Fantastic Friday nights, great matches and even a tournament win along the way. Thank you to all that have attended and supported us this year since we began in February.

24 took part and left the weeks worries behind them as all enjoyed the best way to finish off a week.

What an excellent afternoon of football for the fellas away to OB City exhibition team.
A solid effort and performance from all involved.
Goals from Martin and Ash x 2 put us in a great position for the second half.
With a 3-2 lead going into the last minute of the game, a free kick to OB City and alert follow up made the final result 3-3.
A competitive close game and another step forward for the team.

Another week finished with 28 taking part in our Friday night session, running around, having a laugh with a few goals along the way.

It was never part of the plan when starting our weekly Mindset sessions back in February to form a team, play games and have kits.
The team and games have already taken place, more games planned and the final part of it, the kits have arrived today.
None of this would have been possible without the fantastic fellas that have come along every week and their desire to play football and commit to the group and a massive thank you to Ashley Cross Ashley Cross and Westcross Environmental Services
