Donate to us here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/aylsham-first-responders A Community First Responder (CFR), is a trained volunteer who can be dispatched by ambulance control to attend 999 medical calls on behalf of the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust

When a person/patient faces a medical or life threatening emergency, every second counts, a Community First Responder can make a vital difference

First Responders in the Aylsham area are trained volunteers who give up their spare time to be dispatched by Ambulance Control to certain 999 calls and provide on-scene emergency care to people in their own community

When a emergency 999 call is made, First Responders are alerted by ambulance control and are sent to certain types of calls at the same time as an ambulance so they can provide essential care until the Ambulance crew reaches the scene

The volunteers are trained by the East of England Ambulance Service and are able to administer first aid skills, oxygen therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of a defibrillator (AED)

As you have probably heard in the media, we are extremely busy and as volunteers this is doubly so for us.
We have been primarily used for category one calls which are life-threatening. We will get to you as quickly as we can.
Thank you for your understanding and support from the team.

Aylsham Responders today working with our colleagues and air ambulance.

It has sadly been a very busy month in our area, we are looking for new members to join us. Full training given and you can be proud to be part of the Ambulance Service and maybe go on to join the trust full time as a paramedic (as several of our team have already done).

Sharon Coggins and Sammi are raising funds for us tomorrow in the town hall by selling these sweets and have decorated the tree that can be seen in the church.
They have put so much time into preparing all of these hand made items. All materials and sweets have been donated by local businesses.
Aylsham has some truly amazing people!

Holt Community First Responders are at the garden centre raising awareness about their role and collecting donations to help with their role.

HCFR are trained volunteers who provide immediate medical assistance in the Holt area, reaching emergencies like cardiac arrests and breathing difficulties before an ambulance arrives. They use their own vehicles, are dispatched by ambulance services, and aim to stabilize patients until professional crews take over. The role involves initial life support skills and is a rewarding way for locals to give back to the community.

Any questions please contact the Garden Centre team on 01263 711574 or info@holtgardencentre.co.uk and they will be happy to help
