Here at Creggan Bahn, we brought the Christmas market to those living with us by having it indoors. Everyone really enjoyed buying some Christmas presents and cards for their loved ones. The day was full of laughter, Christmas magic, and more...socialising. A big thank you to our talented baker who made some fantastic cakes, as well as all other venders who took part.

Here at Creggan Bahn, we had an amazing afternoon with our first Dementia Cafe.

The people who live with us enjoyed an afternoon with friends, family and staff, enjoying lovely homemade pancakes, scones, cupcakes, tea and coffee with plenty of heartwarming chats and laughter. Perfect for More...Connection and More...Socialising!

Here at Creggan Bahn, the people living with us enjoyed celebrating Halloween by carving some pumpkins. We all loved taking part and even though it was extremely messy, it was also very fun. Those living with us were proud to showed off the end product. It was a day full of laughter and more creativity!

Here at Creggan Bahn, Jack enjoyed celebrating his 90th birthday up in the Golden room. He had a fantastic time with friends and family and enjoyed more socialising. Our talented baker cooked some fantastic cakes, which went down a treat. Jack was treated like royalty, which was well deserved, and looks amazing for 90!

Those living with us enjoyed a Polish themed day, whereby we enjoyed trying some Polish dishes including Rabbit stew, dumplings, Stuffed cabbage rolls, beetroot soup and poppy seed cake.

We then spent the afternoon travelling to Poland and exploring the top ten places to visit, finishing of our day by listening to a talented choir from Poland. The ideas were also inspired by other staff members including Anna and Anya. Anna and Anya kindly provided information on the most popular dishes from their home country which was much appreciated.

It was a day full of fun, excitement and interest which allowed everyone to explore another culture.

Some of the lovely people living with us here at Creggan Bahn enjoyed an afternoon at Musical Memories at Alloway parish church hall.

They enjoyed the music and singing along to the songs, through music therapy, then had a lovely cup of tea and biscuits. Great fun was had by all.

The Creggan Bahn Court's Harvest Festival appeal resulted in the collection of a substantial harvest festival hamper, with contributions from residents, families, and staff - a grateful thanks to you all.

A wide variety of non-perishable food items were donated. The hamper was presented to elders Ken and Lisa Donnelly from Alloway & Fisherton Parish Church during the church service on Sunday, 28th September. The food will be distributed to South Ayrshire foodbanks for use by the local community.

The people living with use enjoyed watching the incredible air show out in our beautiful garden.

It was a spectacular day full of amazing air displays. The red arrow display was by far the most liked by all at Creggan Bahn. We enjoyed sitting and having a wee dram and some snacks. It was a day full of amazement, laughter, and More...Fresh Air.

Here at Creggan Bahn, we have had a busy weekend.

We had not one, but three of our lovely ladies celebrating their birthdays. On Saturday, Senga enjoyed spending her special day up in the golden room with her family, whereby they enjoy a cupcake afternoon.

On Sunday, it was Dothory and Linda's turn. They both enjoy a meal in the community with family and friends. It was a weekend of celebrations here at Creggan Bahn, full of smiles, laughter and More...Socialising!
