Tomorrow will be my last clinic at Revive 🥰

I had a vision and I had to try it! I have really enjoyed expanding my acupuncture skills while helping lots of people over the past 3 month with numerous different ailments.

However, I knew at the time I would likely be taking on a little more than I could potentially commit to long term, alongside full time nhs hours and homebirth on call commitments.

I fully intend to keep my registration/insurance active so please do get in touch if I can help you in any way on a mobile capacity as this can be much more flexible.

Thank you so much to everyone at revive for making me feel so welcome, was the perfect setting for my little venture.

Since acupuncture is a conservative treatment with very low risk of complications, it’s a viable option for acute pain that can reduce your dependence on medications. Acupuncture is easily added to most pain management plans without complications or interactions.

Auricular acupuncture involves using 5 small needles on the outer ear… simple but powerful.
It is thought that the ear contains a “map” of the whole body and that specific points match up with certain parts of the body.

Commonly used for generalised pain, menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes, reducing stress/anxiety and improving sleep.
It has also been known to help with detoxification and anger management.
Working by stimulating the body’s natural endorphins and regulating the nervous system.

Part of tonight’s treatment was aimed at alleviating symptoms of chronic lower back pain.

Did you know…

The World Health Organisation (WHO) now recommends acupuncture for non surgical management of chronic back pain in their updated guidelines.
This came following evidence from 37 trials involving 7573 participants, where benefits were observed for pain and function.
