Meet Stephen McGregor to the Move Better Team 💪

Here is a bit about Steve . . .
"Steve is originally from Fife, he completed first degree at Dundee University, gaining a 2:1 in Sports Biomedicine. He then went on and Qualified from Teesside University in 2019 with MSc with Merit in Physiotherapy. Joined NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde as a rotational Band 5 in March 2019
Gained experience in MSK, Respiratory Physio and in Acute Medical wards
Moved down to NHS Ayrshire and Arran in June 2020 progressed to a Senior Physiotherapist role in 2021 and more recently has Specialised in MSK in June 2024. Steve has worked for Marr Rugby Club since 2019 and taken on the Lead Physio Role since 2022
He is a contractor for Sport Scotland since 2022 and have gained experience within Cricket, Hockey and Swimming

Outside of work Steve is Married and a Dad to a 18 month old wee Boy. He is a very keen golfer and has played in various county level competitions. He played every sport growing up including football, rugby, badminton and swimming."

We are delighted to have Mini First Aid Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway back at Move Better Kilmarnock for another First Aid class on 15th September 6pm -8pm 🙌 Check out their page and get booked on 👇

We hope you will never have to use some of the skills we teach at our baby & child first aid classes.

We hope you will never have to help your child because they are choking.

We hope you will never have to react to your child burning their skin with a hot drink or from a pan on the stove.

We hope you will never have to perform CPR on your baby.

But we absolutely believe you SHOULD know how to do these things in case you are ever in that situation.

As well as dealing with terrifying situations like this, our classes teach you how to spot the signs of meningitis and sepsis, how to treat a bleed, a head bump and a febrile seizure.

All super useful stuff and knowledge that will give you peace of mind and the calmness to act quickly in an emergency.
