Siân Melangell Dafydd has 15 years yoga teaching experience and 25 years of yoga practice. She has anchored her teaching work as a multidisciplinary artist alongside her yoga path. These threads in her classes and workshops are engaging, inclusive and have a creative playfulness to them. Her aim is to offer fresh ways to approach our bodies so we can really understand ourselves as we evolv

e and grow each season of life. She holds certificates in several traditional yoga lineages, having spent many years studying and incorporating different teachings. She is qualified in, and teaches, Pregnancy and Pre Natal Yoga, vinyassa yoga in the tradition of Dharma Mittra and Yin yoga. As a published author, she is interested emobodied creativity and how practices like yoga release our creative selves. Her approach is trauma sensitive and she consideres a lot about how we relate to each other, how our embodied practices allow us to heal, thrive and conect. Mae gan Siân Melangell Dafydd 15 mlynedd o brofiad dysgu yoga a 25 mlynedd o ymarfer yoga. Mae hi wedi angori ei gwaith dysgu fel artist amlddisgyblaethol ochr yn ochr â’i llwybr yoga. Mae'r llinynnau hyn yn ei dosbarthiadau a'i gweithdai yn plethu, yn gynhwysol ac yn chwareus. Ei nod yw cynnig ffyrdd newydd o ystyried ein cyrff fel y gallwn ni wir ddeall ein hunain wrth i ni esblygu a thyfu bob tymor o fywyd. Mae ganddi dystysgrifau mewn sawl llinach yoga draddodiadol, ar ôl treulio blynyddoedd lawer yn astudio ac yn ymgorffori gwahanol ddysgeidiaeth. Mae hi wedi cymhwyso mewn, ac yn dysgu, yoga beichiogrwydd a Yoga cyn geni, Vinyassa yoga yn nhraddodiad Dharma Mittra ac Yin yoga. Fel awdur cyhoeddedig, mae ganddi ddiddordeb mewn creadigrwydd ymgorfforedig a sut mae arferion fel yoga yn rhyddhau ein hunan-creadigol. Mae ei hymagwedd yn sensitif i drawma ac mae’n ystyried y ffyrdd rydym yn uniaethu â’n gilydd, sut mae ein harferion corfforedig yn caniatáu inni wella, ffynnu a chydgysylltu. Hello, how are you?

I am writing a little message to let you know that as we move into spring, a few new things are going to pop up in my yoga group. Here's sharing a few with you here.

- The Friday morning group will be working through a booking system now. If you want to book a place, can you share your phone number with me in a private message for the Whassap group (used only for booking, not for extra noise!). If you're not on Whassap and want to be in the loop, just write to say so here.

- I'm going to be opening some retreats during the year. If you are interested in any of the topics here - do show me some enthusiasm by replying what's most interesting to you. (1) yoga for runners series (2) candle-lit yin yoga to harp music (3) foraging for skincare and face massage/face yoga with all-body-yoga retreat - indulgent retreat (4) evening 'retreats' small and powerful resets
Please let me know if you're keen on any of these so that I know to keep you in the loop about those.

- Bydd y grŵp bore Gwener yn Llandderfel yn gweithio trwy system archebu nawr. Os ydych chi eisiau archebu lle, allwch chi rannu eich rhif ffôn gyda mi mewn neges breifat ar gyfer y grŵp Whassap (a ddefnyddir ar gyfer archebu yn unig, nid ar gyfer sŵn ychwanegol!). Os nad ydych chi ar Whassap ac eisiau cyfle bwcio, ysgrifennwch air am hynny yma a mi ateba i fesul un.

- Dw i'n mynd i fod yn agor rhai encilion yn ystod y flwyddyn.

Mae'n oer. Mae awydd gen i gysgu. Mae awydd gen i fod yn llorwedd a gwneud fel yr hadau: aros. Nid rŵan yw amser addunedau. Rŵan yw amser maethu. Cysylltu gyda ni'n hunain a gweld beth ydi'r peth a'r ffordd iawn o flodeuo pan ddaw'r amser. Ac o ddangos amynedd gyda fi'n hun, cryfhau. Mae na bethwmbreth o sgiliau personol i'w dysgu drwy ymarfer yoga yn gyson. Dewch er mwyn lleddfu poen cefn neu ysgwyddau, er mwyn ystwytho neu deimlo'n llai stressed, ond mi alla i addo mai'r peth fydd yn eich cadw'n gyson i'r ymarfer ydi rhywbeth da chi ddim hyd yn oed wedi meddwl amdano eto. Ac mi ddaw hynny a maeth anhygoel a dyfnach i chi. Felly os YDYCH yn digwydd bod yn hoffi addunedau blwyddyn newydd, gallai buddsoddi ynoch chi'ch hun fod yn ddechrau da, heb ddisgwyliadau a phwysau penodol.

It's cold. I want to sleep. I want to lie down and be like the seeds: wait. Now is not the time for resolutions. Now is the time to foster strength. Connect with ourselves and see what and how to blossom when the time comes. And by showing patience with myself, I get stronger. There are many personal skills to be learned through regular yoga practice. Come to relieve back or shoulder pain, to become more flexible or to feel less stressed, but I can promise this -the thing that will keep you coming back to practice is something entirely different, that you haven't even thought of yet. Something that will bring you incredible, deeper nourishment. So if you DO happen to be into new year resolutions: investing in yourself might be a good start, without specific expectations and pressures.
