Here are 3 simple tips to begin easing tension today:
1️⃣ Move more often, not harder
Micro-movements matter! Set a reminder on your phone, or pop a post-it note at your desk to remind you to stand, stretch, or walk for 5 minutes minutes every hour. Your body loves variety.
2️⃣ Breathe with purpose
Tension often shows up in the breath. To counteract this, try this technique: inhale for 4, hold for 2, exhale for 6 & repeat for 1–2 minutes. This is a powerful rhythm to calm your nervous system & bring your breath away from your shoulders (we see you;))
3️⃣ Notice your ‘rest’ habits
Are you clenching your jaw, holding your shoulders up, or curling your toes without realising? Catching and softening these patterns is a quiet but powerful way to reset.
