🌿 The Hummingbird in Recanto do Beija-Flor 🌿

In our garden here in Brazil, the hummingbird reminds us of something ancient and powerful.
Despite its tiny size, it carries one of the strongest hearts in nature - beating up to 1,200 times per minute. It moves effortlessly between worlds: flower to flower, stillness to speed, earth to sky.

In many Indigenous traditions of the Americas, the hummingbird symbolizes joy, resilience, healing, and the courage to follow sweetness wherever it appears. It teaches us that even the smallest beings can carry great medicine.

This footage was captured right here at Recanto do Beija-Flor, our sanctuary in the Brazilian nature: a place where the forest speaks, ceremonies unfold, and people come to reconnect with themselves, the Earth, and spirit.

🪶 In February, we are hosting a shamanic retreat here, inviting those who feel the call to slow down, listen deeply, and remember what truly nourishes the heart.
