Wee update:

Baby is doing really well, we are nearly at 24 weeks 🥰

My iron levels lower which means I need to slow down a bit now as I get tired a lot quicker and sometimes light headed. This might mean me contacting you to rearrange to a different day in the week which I know isn't ideal but it is what me and bump need to make sure he/she (we're not finding out the gender) is okay and plus a better treatment experience for you as I'll be working more at my best, rather than exhausted.

I thought I might make it to the first or second week of October but It's likely I could need to stop at the end of September. Still working things out and will keep youse all posted. But for now we're both well, happy and healthy. 🤍

Also feel free to guess the gender, we love hearing what people think it is 🥰

Hello :)

Just the yearly plea for client's to please come to their appointments or at least give me as much notice as possible. With every heat wave brings no shows and last minute cancellations and although I know some are genuine, there's always a high rise in people not showing up which becomes quite stressful.
If you do have to cancel please let me know as soon as possible as I have to turn so many clients away for being fully booked, right now July is already starting to book up but if people are in pain, id much rather try and help them now. There's no shame in cancelling but if I have notice I can get it replaced. Thank you so much,

I've gotten some questions about how cabin life will be now that I'm expecting so I'll just answer some here 😊

1) I'm not sure when I'll be taking maternity leave, I hope I can work right up until I'm due but will have to slow down on how many treatments and doing and will be temporarily take away some of the massages that will be too difficult / tiresome to do such as hot stone, warm bamboo and hawaiian lomi lomi but they will be back on the menu when I return.

2) I won't be taking much time off maternity leave as self employed maternity pay is not something I can live on for long. So I'm aiming for 8-10 weeks all being well which would bring me to February.

3) As my baby is due the start of November, this is the first year I won't be working Christmas. However, the cabin will be open for christmas gift vouchers, as well as Christmas wax melts and gift sets. I'll occasionally come up as well to say hi to people too.

4) For gift vouchers I will extend the expiry date an extra month or so to allow for time for me being off.

5) I will be bringing facials back to summer which will help me fit more clients in as I get to sit down for those treatments. I have also missed doing facials 😊
