Tricia Penrose, born on 9 April 1970 in Kirkby, Liverpool, is a British actress and singer renowned for her extensive work in television and music. She gained widespread recognition for portraying Gina Ward, the vivacious barmaid of the Aidensfield Arms, in ITV's 1960s-set drama "Heartbeat." Penrose joined the series in 1993 and remained a central figure until its conclusion in 2010, making her the longest-serving female cast member with over 300 episodes to her credit.
Beyond "Heartbeat," Penrose showcased her versatility with appearances in other notable British television programmes, including "Brookside," "Emmerdale," and "Coronation Street." She also featured in the "Heartbeat" spin-off, "The Royal," further cementing her status in British television.
In addition to her acting career, Penrose pursued her passion for music. She released singles such as "Where Did Our Love Go?" in 1996 and "Don't Wanna Be Alone" in 2000, both produced by Simon Cowell.
