Today we are celebrating 10 years of Ella! 🎉🎈 In the words of a lovely bracelet she received today: "kind heart, fierce mind, brave spirit" 😘 Sums her up perfectly!

As a celebration of her birthday, I asked her to choose a charity for me to make a donation to. Many charities have supported her and the treatment she received, so I thought she may find the decision hard. In fact, it was quick - choosing instead to support a charity who supported someone she loves dearly. Her treatment for leukaemia has caused difficulties for her, but she faces every day with so much determination and resilience that I know she'll always succeed. 💪

Her presence in the world means it is a little bit kinder, a little bit more caring and a little bit more thoughtful. I'm very proud to be her mum! ❤🎈🎁🧁

We have a stall tomorrow at St Mary's Church, Banbury 10am - 4pm. Lots of lovely bunting, sewn items and handmade cards. All proceeds to CLIC Sargent.

As we have no more stalls booked this summer, we have decided to sell off some of our remaining stock to make room for new ideas for the winter. Cherwell heights or Bodicote collection. Some items can be posted for extra cost of p&P. All sold in aid of CLIC Sargent.

We will be having our usual stall in aid of CLIC Sargent at the Bishop Loveday School (Ella and Ethan's school) winter fayre this coming Sunday - details on poster. Do pop along and see us if you are in the area. We will be posting any leftover Christmas bunting etc for sale afterwards to raise more funds for this charity.

Morrisons have a collection box for recycling your Christmas cards and CLIC Sargent will receive a donation from this. So if you want to help the environment and support our favourite charity at the same time, this is a good way to do it at no cost to yourselves!

4 years ago, I (Ann) had to pull out of organising our church nativity, as I couldn't face doing it with Ella so poorly in hospital. Today, she made me an incredibly proud granny as she took part as the youngest of our 4 narrators. (Her brother made a pretty good cow too!)
