Hi, I’m Samantha, a UK bridal makeup artist 🤍

This is my Bridal Diaries Episode 4 - if you joined me for my first video I said I’d try and take you along to all my wedding mornings this year (I’m a little behind already please bare with me 😅)

Here, I’m at for Caitlin’s wedding, where she spent the morning getting ready with her sisters and mum

Something I’ve really learnt over the years…
is that no two wedding mornings should feel the same.

My job isn’t just to do your makeup it’s to understand you, your energy, and how you want that morning to feel.

For Sophie’s wedding, her vibe was really calm, quiet, just very relaxed… so that’s exactly how I approached it.
I sat beside her, let her have her space, didn’t overfill the silence and just knew when to step in and when not to and that’s such a big part of it.

Because it’s not just about how the makeup looks it’s how you feel while it’s happening.
And that’s why who you choose to be there with you that morning really matters 🤍

My bride hated her first makeup trial.. but look at her smile on the wedding day!

She thought she wanted something on trend and in line with her overall wedding theme but in the end she just wasn’t happy with the final look.

We got her back in and I guided her through a complete second look with alot more input and guidance from me.
Recommending products and techniques that enhanced her features and natural beauty and what I believed would look amazing on her.

And together we tweak and refine until the final look is flawless and completely you!
