Steady, mindful movement to clear your head and carry you through the rest of the day feeling lighter and more focused.

An evening exhale.
We slow the pace, soften the edges, and move with intention under warm candlelight.
A chance to unwind, stretch, breathe deeply and transition gently into your night.

Hello there,
There is something very special about a private yoga practice.
No rushing.
No comparing.
No trying to keep up.
Just you.
Your breath.
Your body.
Private classes allow us to move at your rhythm.
To work with what is actually happening in your life right now , whether that’s building strength, recovering energy, easing tension, or simply creating space to think and breathe.
Some weeks the practice is dynamic and strengthening.
Other weeks it is slower, steadier, more nourishing.
It becomes less about “doing yoga” and more about having a practice that supports you.
I teach private sessions in your home around Barnet and surrounding areas.

The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance, equal day and night and the gentle turning from winter into spring.
After the heaviness and stillness of the colder months, this workshop is an invitation to clear out sluggish winter energy and create space for something new.
We’ll explore gentle yoga Kriya, simple cleansing technics that combine breath and movement to refresh the body and awaken energy naturally and help you feel lighter and clearer.
Expect:
• Soft but energising movement
• Simple breathing techniques to reset and uplift
• A grounding guided Yoga Nidra meditation to close
The space is cosy and beautiful, an intimate setting for seasonal transition.

Back on the mat after a week of half term pause 🤍
There is something so reassuring about returning.
To the hall.
To the breath.
To the familiar rhythm of moving together.
And to Child’s Pose. Always there.
A shape that asks nothing of us.
A place to land.
To soften the jaw.
To feel the back body rise and fall with each breath.
Thank you, Child’s Pose, for catching us.
For holding us when we need grounding.
For reminding us that rest is part of the practice, not separate from it.

The Spring Equinox marks a moment of balance, equal light and dark.
But balance outside doesn’t automatically mean balance inside.
In yoga philosophy there is a beautiful word: equanimity, an inner steadiness. A calm centre that remains, even as the seasons and life, shift around us.
On Friday 20 March, I’ll be holding a 90-minute evening workshop to honour this seasonal transition. I’m especially excited because it will be in a new venue for me: A Space to Breathe.
It truly lives up to its name, a beautiful, calm space to pause, soften and be held. I can’t wait to teach there and share this evening with you.
We will begin with meditation and a gentle cleansing kriya to clear winter heaviness.
Move through slow, nourishing movement.
And close with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra.
This is for you if:
• You feel slightly depleted after winter
• You crave a reset
• You want to step into spring feeling grounded and steady
Places are limited to keep the atmosphere intimate.

Each session is a mindful, slow flow.
We move. We breathe. We feel. We observe. We explore.
It’s a space to build strength gently, release tension, and come back to yourself, whether you’re new to yoga or returning after a break.

Semi-private yoga is perfect for small groups. The sessions are shaped around the shared energy, rhythm, and dynamic of your group.
Practising with people you know brings a sense of ease, connection, and lightness, making the experience playful, enjoyable, and uplifting.
I come to your home with yoga mats and props and guide a class suited to the group as a whole.
Semi-private (3–4 people): £95

🌊 Contemplation
I wrote this over the summer 2024, a moment of stillness by the sea.
"Pure stillness. Contemplation. Immersing myself in the sea. This pause just before you go in, watching the infinite horizon. The unobstructed view that my eyes long for all year. The sun’s reflection on the water’s surface, wondering what lies beneath. This moment, this pause, is bountiful."

Hi, I’m Hélène,
I’m a local yoga teacher in Barnet offering small-group sessions that feel personal, calm, and adapted to what you need, without the formality of a studio class.
I come to you, bring all the props, and guide the class at your pace.
- Private (1–2 people): £75
- Semi-private (3–4 people): £95
- Small group (5–6 people): £115
More personal than a class.
More relaxed than a studio.
Option to rent a private space for £15 per hour, subject to availability.
