Residents and staff enjoyed a hen party celebration today. 🎉
Hannah our activities coordinator is getting married in a few days, we enjoyed cakes and drinks to celebrate, and not forgetting the banana 🍌 game which was alot
of fun And laughter.

Residents enjoyed a lovely harvest festival themed party, with Dennis entertaining us with his songs, carrot cake and fruit made by our chef, Simon.

On Friday we took two of our residents out for a coffee in Barnet Highstreet. A lovely little cafe which was enjoyed by both.

Sun was shining so what better way to get out for a nice stroll and chats. We was even greeted by lots of friendly dogs. Was even lucky enough to give some treats too. ☕️🌞🦮

Our final virtual cruise stop in Greece today, before we come home.
Residents enjoyed massaka for lunch, followed by Greek music, quiz and word games.

Rabbi Lister visited us this morning for Rosh Hashanah, was lovely to see the residents happy and getting involved with the songs.

We went on a virtual cruise to Spain last week, and today we made some pasta necklaces for our trip to Italy today,, covering Venice and Rome, learning some interesting facts and enjoying Italian word games.

A start to our virtual cruise to France, residents enjoyed the fun, eating chocolate crossaints, learning some French facts and listening to some French music.

It's national doggy day today, and we had the pleasure of having our manager dog soup, come and visit residents in their rooms and in the lounges.

Celebrating two of our lovely ladies birthdays this week, with delicious cake made by our chef, and a nice cuppa.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of Morris visit us here at Hadley Lawns Care Home. He can sing in 40 different different languages.

Residents had a great time singing along and having a dance. They enjoyed hearing songs sung in other languages too. He is very enthusiastic and energetic which they love.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of Megan's petting paradise visit us with her beautiful animals.

We had rabbits , Guinea pigs, bearded dragon, rats and a millipede.

Residents loved having a selection of animals to see/ hold / get to know more about. Animals bring so much joy to our residents. 🐭🦎🐇

This morning here at Hadley our residents were up and ready for some morning exercise.

Ball exercise using hands / feet and eye coordination.
Resistant bands, upper arm strength, leg muscles and hands.

Bean bag throwing into the net, good eye coordination, upper arm strength.

A good way to start the day ,doing these daily helps improve upper body and lower body strength. It's also enjoyed by all.
