I don't usually bother sharing Petitions as I have the view that someone important will sort all that out! This time, it's one of my Peer Support Workers from EDA and I need to get as much support as possible for this cause close to my heart but vital to their progression in life

We want the Government to limit the trauma following inpatient admissions to mental health units. We want to prevent people admitted as inpatients from dying from su***de. We want there to be a mandatory trauma assessment post-discharge from a long-term mental health admission.

This week it's time to take on clinicians, difficult seen as I am one! In my experience there are two distinct types of clinicians and my blog this week looks at this in more detail - how can we treat people whose condition does not fit neatly into a diagnostic "box" such as PDA which cannot be found in any diagnostic manual?
