As we get closer to the Winter Solstice and the turning of the year. I wanted to say a big thank you to all the yogis who have taken time to practice with me this year.

Whether you practice with me on a mat or on a chair and whether it is at Barrington, Shepton Beauchamp, Huish or Wick Farm, the energy that you have all brought to our spaces has been wonderful to be a part of and I am truly grateful for it.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

There are only a few classes left this year (last classes on 22nd December) so I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all a peaceful time over the coming weeks.

As requested, I have updated my website and booking system to show the upcoming classes in January and February.

Sending peace and love to all over the next few weeks.

In a season when we are usually looking to ground ourselves, I have been increasingly drawn to our Crown Chakra energy.

It feels as if the world is polarized at the moment and I feel the need to create space for empathy, connection and the ability to see that we are all one energy.

Sahasrara or Crown Energy is represented by a 1000 petal lotus flower and is the seventh and highest chakra, located at the crown of the head. It is associated with spiritual connection, wisdom, and connection to universal consciousness

When our crown energy is out of whack it can lead us to feel emotional detachment, isolation, a lack of purpose, cynicism, and a closed mind.

However, when our crown energy is balanced we can feel a state of deep spiritual connection, inner peace, and clarity ,bringing a sense of unity with the universe and higher purpose.

There are a variety of ways of working with the crown chakra, connecting physically to the crown of the head in different ways or finding stillness and universal energy through meditation.

Along with our grounding practices in class I have been introducing some crown chakra energy too and will continue doing this in the coming weeks.

Hi Yogis ✨

Thank you all so much for practicing yoga with me over the Summer, it has been amazing to see so many of you make time for your practice. There have certainly been some warm sessions this year!

There is a two week break from all yoga classes from 17th August until 31st August. Our classes will resume on 1st September.

My website is up to date up until the end of December so you can continue to book Barrington and Shepton classes there as usual. Langport classes are bookable at the Langport Lifestyle Fitness website and enquiries about the Wick Classes require a message to me!

I hope you can manage to find some time over the next 2 weeks to find a little time and space for gentle movement, stillness and breath.

There has been plenty of 'legs up the wall' in class recently.... In case you are wondering how to incorporate this into your life off the mat I highly recommend roping in a pet!

All classes are now on the system up until the 'C word'
