December brought back a bit of my old corporate habit 😅 Just before Christmas, I finally renewed my consultation form — the last outstanding KPI for this year 😆

This new version is intentionally designed with bigger fonts and short, simple language. Many people don’t bring their reading glasses to their massage appointment (understandably!), so I wanted to make it as easy and stress-free as possible 👍

If you prefer, a digital version (Word format) is also available and you’re more than welcome to complete it before your appointment.

A moment right after a treatment is such a special window ✨

Clients lying there relaxed and smiling peacefully — that alone says more than words ever could.

But in that soft, quiet space, they sometimes share the most honest and unrefined comments, straight from the heart… and those words are the ones I want to treasure forever 💛

As the final chapter of 2025 arrives, I wanted to celebrate by sharing a few things my lovely clients said right after their treatments. These moments touched my heart more than they’ll ever know 🌿

At Barton Holistic Wellbeing, the music you hear comes from this old Sony Hi-Fi — a CMT-M100MD, almost 25 years old!
No Bluetooth… but it does have CD, MiniDisc, and even cassette tapes! wow! =p

It’s a tiny touch of nostalgia… and I truly believe our bodies remember and respond to that familiarity — the feeling of when life was a little slower and simpler...
Honestly, the sound from older technology is so much warmer, rounder, softer… almost like the music wraps around your body, unlike many modern smart devices which can feel a little sharper to the ears =(

Quite a few people have commented positively on the music, so I thought it might be nice to introduce the little helper that quietly supports every treatment in the background — gently filling the space and guiding you into a peaceful headspace!

It’s a tiny touch of nostalgia… but it helps people soften, and that means everything to me.

I walked into the kitchen because I was thirsty… and then something caught my eye.
Little prisms were dancing across the wall — many of them. 🌈✨
The winter sun was shining through the sun catchers on the window.

My mood lifted instantly.
Then I realised I had been ruminating again… thinking about something I couldn’t control.

And suddenly I remembered:
This is why my past self put these little things around the house — to cheer me up.
I snapped out of the loop and chose something more supportive for myself instead.

Thank you, past me.
I’m really grateful. 🌈

It genuinely humbles me every time I receive a review like this.
Most of my clients are regulars now, and many of them already know that I don’t have a website, and I’m not even on Google Maps… yet.
