I often talk about how your emotions can lead to unhealthy food choices, leading to weight gain....but of course the opposite can be true too - our emotions can cause us to eat very little, leading to lack of nutrition and all sorts of health problems like fatigue, stress, weight loss and very serious conditions like anorexia and bulimia. Some people feel anxiety in their tummy, making it hard to even want to eat, and even swallowing can be an impossible task. It's so important to deal with these negative emotions before serious health problems arise.

Anyone else eaten far too many Easter eggs? Diet starts tomorrow right? Not for me it doesnt - yes I've had about a months worth of sugar in two days - but I know that I generally eat a well balanced diet, have my 5 a day and exercise regularly, so I refuse to feel guilty for having a treat (or two. Or three) I thoroughly enjoyed my Easter eggs. Does that mean I'm going to wake up two stone heavier tomorrow? No. Or that I'm useless and destined to fail? No. It means I'm human, I can have bad eating days but I can acknowledge it, let it go, and continue on my healthy living journey.....not as easy as it sounds, I know, but I can help you....get in touch x

This just proves that dieting to fit a certain dress size is never going to work - the variations in sizes are crazy! It's things like this that can contribute to those 'fat' feelings. No wonder women (and men!) are so obsessed with dieting. I dont believe in fad diets, cutting out food groups and obsessive calorie counting....healthy mind = healthy eating = healthy living. Brrrr its cold! Still home schooling/working/surviving! This awful weather doesn't help with the motivation to exercise and eat well. Our house is all about comfy pj's and hot chocolate! But that's ok - as with every one right now I know I'm doing my best. Its certainly been a difficult time for so many people and that can often lead to mindless snacking, making bad food choices and probably feeling worse for it. Mentally and physically. Its so easy to loose our way, even when we start with the best intentions. I can help you work out your triggers for unhealthy eating, change your destructive habits and help you with your healthy lifestyle journey. And it is a lifestyle change - NO DIETS!!!!
