Happy 2022! Where did the last year go?

I encountered some unexpected bumps in the road last year which meant putting things on hold (I’m sure I’m not alone as it was another challenging year). But whilst I get myself back on track, keep your eyes open for some new developments in the coming months.

In the meantime, if you are struggling with the thought of yet another New Years diet and don’t know where to start, I have a couple of free consultations available in January.

Finally, my 3 top tips for the new year:
Don’t compare yourself to others, this is your journey not theirs.
Work through some realistic and achievable goals to motivate you (small steps).
Don’t beat yourself with a stick if things don’t go to plan, review your plan and learn from it.

How are you New Years resolutions going? Still hitting your goals ? Don’t worry if you “failed” , it’s perfectly normal and also part of success. Plus you also have another 11 months to work on it. 👍😀

Exercise is so beneficial, mentally as well as physically, especially at the moment.

It’s not a punishment for something you ate, but something that can be enjoyable and help you through different times. It doesn’t have to be running a marathon, it can be a walk , gentle stretching or dancing round the kitchen to your favourite song...just find something that you enjoy

Heard this one? It’s one of my biggest pet hates.

Yes eating less and exercising more could help if it creates a calorie deficit, but it’s not a long term solution, and it will likely make you feel miserable.

In actual fact you need to eat more, yes! More food, but the right choices, and an understanding of how you can create good habits and maintain an enjoyable life whilst still loosing weight.
