🌙 What does this night bring up for you - stillness, emotion, restlessness, peace?
Tell me in one word.
🌙 I don’t speak about my beliefs all the time.
But Mahashivaratri is one of those nights I can’t ignore.
Not because someone told me to do something…
But because the night itself feels different.
There’s a quiet intensity in the air.
In yogic traditions, this is seen as a time when energy naturally moves upward. A night that supports stillness, meditation, inner turning.
And even if you look at it simply…
It’s a New Moon.
The sky is darker.
The world is softer.
Something about that darkness invites us inward.
For me, Shiva isn’t just a figure.
Shiva is the symbol of deep inner silence.
The part of you that can sit with discomfort…
with noise…
with life…
and still remain steady.
So tonight, I’m not chasing rituals.
Just presence.
A few minutes of breath.
A spine held upright.
A mind gently watched.
And maybe that’s enough.
If this carousel reached you for a reason, share it with someone you love.
Happy Mahashivaratri 🕉
