🌙 What does this night bring up for you - stillness, emotion, restlessness, peace?

Tell me in one word.

🌙 I don’t speak about my beliefs all the time.

But Mahashivaratri is one of those nights I can’t ignore.

Not because someone told me to do something…

But because the night itself feels different.

There’s a quiet intensity in the air.

In yogic traditions, this is seen as a time when energy naturally moves upward. A night that supports stillness, meditation, inner turning.

And even if you look at it simply…

It’s a New Moon.
The sky is darker.
The world is softer.

Something about that darkness invites us inward.

For me, Shiva isn’t just a figure.

Shiva is the symbol of deep inner silence.

The part of you that can sit with discomfort…
with noise…
with life…

and still remain steady.

So tonight, I’m not chasing rituals.

Just presence.

A few minutes of breath.
A spine held upright.
A mind gently watched.

And maybe that’s enough.

If this carousel reached you for a reason, share it with someone you love.

Happy Mahashivaratri 🕉

There goes my second long run 🏃‍♀️

Somewhere between survival and becoming, I learned to trust myself and meet myself where I am.

Grateful for teaching yoga. What began unexpectedly expanded something within me that now loves to share. Grateful for the spaces that held me 💛

Before 2025 ends, I want to share a few things this year showed me. My last trek in North ABC felt like the perfect backdrop for reflection.

People and connections changed this year. Some shifted, some stayed, and it reminded me to value the people who truly hold space for you. Family and close ones kept cheering, supporting, and grounding me.

I stayed active — ran, trekked twice, danced, went to the gym, practiced yoga — and learned that rest is part of consistency. Teaching yoga, even sharing small takeaways, reminded me why I started and why giving matters.

Moving abroad and taking big decisions made me face uncertainty and grow. This year made it clear: I want dreamers, risk-takers, and people who push me to expand.

Grateful for the lessons, the moments, and the growth. Here’s to carrying these reflections into 2026 with more heart, flow, and clarity.

Pranayama is the art of conscious breathing — a bridge between the body and mind that helps cultivate awareness, balance, and inner clarity. 🌿

As part of the Yoga Teacher Training – Level 1 at Yoga Life Studio, Mid Baneshwor, I’ll be guiding pranayama sessions on 2nd & 9th September.

These sessions will explore how simple breath practices can calm the nervous system, improve focus, and deepen one’s yoga journey both on and off the mat.
